Kyle Amor / Ben Cockayne being linked with HKR , it's just rumour of course. logically Tim Smith would be a high wage and another possible target .
re Chase as a go between , with all the conjecture and rumour about who is linked with Salford for 2014. If you're talking to potential recruits and name Chase as a draw to them signing on too , the best way to prove it is to bring Chase with them, they don't have to be mates...  |

But if Chase is talking to/ has signed for Salford isn't this what is known in the trade as "tapping up",unless his parent club has given permission? Would they be letting their star player out midweek before a game for such a meeting knowing how it could affect his concentration for the forthcoming weekend,bearing in mind his previous "indescretions" pre match.I'm not saying it didn't happen,just that there is no physical proof that it did,I'm sure Wakefield would love to know why Tim Smith was meeting representatives from another club while still under contract,I'm sure the RFL would like to know too.

This is how transfers have been dealt with for many years in Super League, unfortunately for us it has always involved our better players leaving for other clubs. However now we are the ones with some cash to splash it’s funny to see opposition supporters suddenly taking the moral high ground with such tactics.

This is getting silly. Holdsworth and Smith were both allegedly tapped up last year, should the RFL launch an operation Yewtree style crusade or shall we just accept that, one way or another, this sort of thing has always happened.
Seeing as we've historically been on the wrong end of this arrangement for years, I really won't be losing any sleep!
