Ok ill admit the above was me, i never actually abused the players just merely stated the fact of how shi!t and useless they were.

| 2 games in a row now where we have failed to make a line break. Any chance of the half backs attempting to take the line on now and again? The last try before half time pretty much summed it up. 10 seconds to go and a tap penalty to Cas. The only way they can score is the high kick to the corner, so we stand and watch the kicker put the bomb up and leave Henry isolated out wide and he is out jumped. Poor show all round. No concentration, no leadership (on or off the pitch). Must be annoying for the players as well having no-one who can actually coach on the coaching staff.

Do you know anything about Rugby League? 4 weeks ago DJ ran the show against Hull KR, the difference between then (and against Catalan & Wakey) was the forwards laid the platform, Against Cas, Saints, Crusaders, Wigan and Leeds the forwards were found wanting, Our first 2 tries yesterday were from mistakes by them to give us the try, scored straight from the mistake on both occasions. We have a big mobile pack but if they don't do the hard work up the middle the likes of DJ and Stef cannot play, its as simple as that.
DJ is a class act, who on his day is as good as anyone in the superleague, and at times last year he carried us through games, So your either not a RL fan or just very fickle, He is the perfect player to build a team around, big name attracts other players as seen with Patten
Our forwards just need to be more consistent, we have finally got an out and out hooker who can spot when the opposition is on the back foot, and has quicker/better distribution than Alker, A quality FB, A winger who when given the chance will score for fun. We need a prop who along side Cashmere, Boyle & Sidlow, can allow Patten, Smith, Ratchford, Broughton, Godwin & especially DJ to play.
Rant Over.

| Sorry but for me we didtched the young kids who played against Hull KR to easily, they showed passion and comitment to the shirt rather than the pies like Feka. Neal should be playing as near as damb it a full game and we need to revert Cashmere to his 60 odd minutes a game he used to play in the NRL.
I know it's a clique but do think better times are ahead if we get any real heat as has been said above we have a very mobile pack, we just need to encourage the kids who did us so proud last time to run thier blood to water and maybe shame a fe of the snior pros into a response.

Cas are no where near the cap, alot of our players are kids on small contracts (arundel, clark, milner, walker, holmes, thompson).

I can not for the life see why Anderson was rushed into the team.
OK he scored a try on Sunday but FFS even I could have scored that.
Is it because he is on big money and we have to justify that.
There are a few in the team the so called big signings that should be ashamed of the performances they have put in.
Salford the last big pay day club again.

Exactly - the point being made is that we'd won two on the bounce with a number of the youngsters given the chance - then a "big name" just automatically gets a starting place - lo & behold we've now lost two on the bounce - for me that's poor man-management

I dis-agree, against KR we had Marriot and Davidson making their debuts, it was very much backs against the wall, and i agree with youngsters being given the chance but throwing them too early week in and week out in superleague will probably only see them going backwards, Look at Kevin Penny....
He was given a spot because we were low on numbers, Injuries and Suspension have forced our hand to throw Anderson back in, Ok its clear for everyone to see he isnt match fit, but there is only one way to get match fitness, and hopefully soon it will pay dividends

"Cometh the hour cometh the man" ?
But, yes I tend to agree that too much pressure too soon can cause trouble for young developing players - even so, certainly for Crusaders I'd have kept the same teamsheet if I could

Now I agree, Anderson shouldn't have been rushed back into the side and, probably, isn't match fit, but he showed some great athleticism and pace to score that try. Which indicates, when he's match fit we have a great player on our hands. Like somebody else said, maybe the best way to get him match fit is to get him in the team and playing games.
Of the so called big signings, do you think Wild hasn't performed, maybe Nero, or what about Patten. To me those three have given really good service so far. Granted, what the F&@k has happened to Feka, but Wild certainly runs his blood to water for the team and is definite improvement on Swain in attack. I suppose you could argue we have. roughly, at 50/50 success rate, Wild/Nero/Patten v Feka/Bailey/Anderson. Anderson and Gleeson, although I wouldn't class him as a big signing, could still prove to be successful.
I'm not sure how to improve the quality of personnel within the side. There must be real trouble going on behind the scenes, it doesn't seem to matter what the club does, changes manager, changes players, the result is always the same. We the fans get let down. Maybe it's our fault, for not getting behind the team when times are tough.

Whilst I don't disagree entirely (and I do believe that you shouldn't change a winning team) most young forwards will tell you that there are two main differences between playing Academy and First Team football - one is the speed of the game and the other is the time it takes you to recover.
I'm all for throwing young lads in and they did a grand job for us but their ability to back-up week on week may well explain why Anderson, Feka et al have been called upon.
I still think we need to give Anderson half a dozen games before using him as (yet another) scape-goat though!

| He is never going to get match fit if he doesn't even try to take the ball in and makes naff all attempt to tackle! He is lazy and looks like he is laughing all the way to the bank. Disgraceful!
