| Quote: Gadger "Great game today, score line flattered Wigan. Crowd wise thought it look far higher than the 6k given, atmos was great, and wtf is this about a clique? Stood at 3 different parts of the south stand, with 3 diff groups of lads. All sang songs started by others, no negativity against dobbo, just a top day.
Interested to see what happens re weller now, how pato n lee aren't too bad, need to build on this'"
There wasn't today, fans were great all around.
Brilliant performance anyway, hope Patterson & Lee are back on the pitch soon. Outstanding considering we played 60 minutes with only 2 men on the bench.
I'm not sure what's gone on at the club lately with this team spirit malarkey but long may it continue.
Also, Josh Griffin was limping after the game, hope it was just a tight muscle or something, he'll be a massive miss if he's out for Leeds.

| It appears that one of the Wigan players thought it may be a bit easier today!

A great team performance today especially in the first 20 minutes when Wigan threw a lot at us.
Maybe this win will give the team the confidence to believe that they can beat the top teams. Team spirit appears to be fantastic at the moment with the players prepared to put their bodies on the line for the cause.
All in all a great Easter for the team, fans & and the club.

Coming back to win from an early 8 point deficit, despite being 2 men down already, is an achievement in itself. Not very long ago our heads would have dropped by that point and we'd be lucky to keep them under 40.
Oh, and it being against Wigan just enhances that.

| Some nice touches as well today. We didn't fluke a win against a big name club with a dogged display, we played the better rugby league, scored some well worked tries, and made way more line breaks.
Reminded me a bit of[i that[/i game in 1996.

... I couldn't have summed it up any better.
A really enjoyable day in the sun!

| Just seen Dobson's pass for Evalds' second try on sky sports news. Looked good at the time and it really was pure class. Thought Dobbo's kicking game was a bit below his last couple of games in the first half but it got better as our forwards made space for him and he took the line on more and put in some quality passes. I suspect there's more to come from him yet

Could have had 3 more tries at least if Burgess wasn't so quick in his cover defence. Thought he kept Wigan in it for long periods

| Let's just say there is happy wee!
I go to games with a lad who's only experience (it sold him on RL) of the Willows was the last home game and he never totally of got it before today, the atmosphere in the South stand today was very Shedesque, people chatting with random people, all jumping and celebrating together and various chants started by different sections taken up by the masses.
If we could bottle what I experienced in there today it would be gold.
As for on the pitch, BRILLIANT.
Right through the team there seams to be a work ethic that all of a sudden as clicked, Hock going possibly (though Suttons bewildering comments can only have helped steel them).
Think today we saw that Evalds is good, but is a definitive work in process and Locke has that edge.
Forster, huge potential and very good engine.
Tasi, for me he is the player we need to be tieing down to a longer term deal, some massive but legal hits today and God doesn't he enjoy himself out there.
Dobson, Chase might be the headline grabber but Dobson is the boss.
Hood, is the type of hooker we all called for but didn't get, shows that the club can spot a talent that is home grown but over looked rather than splashing the pennies on an Ennis, Smith or Farah.
Still get the feeling there is a piece of the jigsaw missing, but the better we play sussing out which piece gets harder and harder.

MR, I was told yesterday that Lama has already signed for Saints for next season. I'm not one to start rumours but the guy that told me is very friendly with a number of people within the club. I hope to god he's wrong but I have no valid reason to doubt him. Lama would be a massive loss because he's the sort of prop we should be building our pack around. If he was to leave I'd hope he'd return to the NRL as that's what his talent.deserves.
I hope I'm wrong.

Strange one this.
Tasi himself has stated, on Twitter, that the rumours about Saints were rubbish.
I suppose we'll see at the end of the season.
In fact, here's the link....

| I thought the first 20 we were disappointing going forward, we gifted Wigan the majority of their possession by conceding silly penalties. However even during this spell our defence was fantastic and it was only from a lucky play which Wigan capitalised on that they went over the sticks. When can you ever remember a Wigan side, 6-0 up with only 15 minutes played getting a penalty right in front of the sticks and opting to the take the 2 points? That was the biggest compliment they could have paid to our defence. Second 20 of the first half we were brilliant, we finally got going forward, used the ball well and forced the errors in the Wigan half.
Second half was as dominant as it gets, as others have said we really should have scored more and would have if it wasn't for the lightening speed amongst Wigan's backline.
Yesterday was the vision by Koukash, beating Wigan to go 3rd infront of a big crowd (erm no chance there were only 6.5k in there, you could never have put another 6k in that stadium) long may it continue.
