With Feka and Anderson both being under contract and both being rather cack can't we simply let it be known that if anyone wants them they can have no for no fee? Pretty sure a Widnes or a Wakey would take one if not both of them. Would imagine that DJ and Patten aside they are the biggest earners at the club?.
I would personally like to see the money saved if we could release them spent on a big no nonesense prop being brought over from the NRL.
Do find the lack of signing activity worrying though, unless any targets we have are still involved in the finals series either over here or in the NRL.

maybe we are being out-bid for targets. On boots and all last night, they were saying that harlequins are spending the FULL cap this season....plus wakey have a new wealthy backer.....which means Im guessing we have the lowest playing budget in the league

Whilst I no its admiralable just how much our directors have put in......wouldnt it have been nice to spend full cap (or near enough) for the first couple of years at the new ground..to build up a head of steam...and attract new fans by winning more games with better players

Our owners tried pumping money in for the season just gone. Look what happened.

The problem is, we really needed was a new coach who was able to put some trust in the youth players. It was obvious to everybody who stands on the terraces, that keeping hold of McRae would cost the club more in the long run, than paying off his contract.

Still, we live in hope. Wilky may pull some extra cash out from somewhere to fund a quality prop, or we maybe able to get rid off Feka and sign someone else.

Anyone think that Jamie Thackeray would be worth taking on from Barrow (now they are all but dead and buried) on a one year deal? old head in the forwards I'm certain would get more game time than Feka and always had a decent off load on him.
