I am mate... I think it's just another thing in a string of disappointments.

Firstly... the original design is taken away and have a lesser quality stadium. I know this couldn't be helped, and when we look at it... perhaps the original design was over-ambitious.

We get used to that... and even grow quite fond of the design...and get quite excited by it... then we are told that we can't stand along the side... like we did at The Willows... and we are being pushed behind the sticks... in a stand that hasn't exactly got height on it's side like the North Stand had.

Then... To top it all off... We are given blue seats in a stadium who's primary tenants are called 'Reds'.

How would you have felt had we stayed at The Willows, and they ripped out half the red seats to be replaced by blue ? I bet many would have kicked off... and I don't see this as being any different.

How would people feel if blue was incorporated into our home kit ? Happy ? No chance... why ? Because we are REDS.

I know this stadium isn't owned by us... but we are forever being told that the council are proud of it's number one sporting club... yet they keep finding a way to put the boot in.

Just think of all the positives we have had in the past 25yrs, i will name a few,0NE,errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So have you, only you didn't buy the club and fix everything. You're entirely to blame.


As oppose to a down-and-out club? Besides, it's all your fault for not buying the club and fixing everything.

So why didn't you buy the club back then? Everyone knows a rugby league club in a 'healthy state' in the 70's was a guaranteed business success by 2011. Guaranteed!

We have a new Stadium to play in whatever the colour of the seats , and we still have a team to support , which is still in the super league.

Another kick in the teeth for me having blue seats im wondering how many more kicks i can take because i tell you what everything that happens to do with Salford turns out to be a disaster

Our total lack of control over Barton is frightening and it will be a constant problem in the years ahead. This blue seat debacle is just another small scale example of this. Hopefully if Sale move in they'll get the same reception from our fans that they got from the Stockport fans.

How many blue seats are there, or how many are there going to be? I suppose I wouldn't mind too much if it's like Wigan (the two ends though), anything more and I won't be happy.

Just seen the picture on the other thread. It's not the end of the world, but it would've been great to have all red seats. Feels in a way, with all this Sale talk as well, that we've been alienated a little bit before even moving in.

I posted on here quite a few months back when the whole ground share issue first raised it's head and was shouted down! I said then that Brian kennedy was a parasite and not to be trusted! He wormed his way in to Stockport County when the County fans thought that a bit of extra dough would help their club. He took over and now he looks set to drop them like a stone and leave them in a terrible state.

It's blue seats today...how long before we get the "Oh well we've got Leicester this wekend while you've only got Catalan coming, you'll have to move your fixture to suit us!" Mark my words this man must be stopped before he does to salford what he did to County.

If the Council are serious about Salford RLFC then they should be standing up to him. at present he needs the stadium more than it needs him. He should be told he can use the ground on our terms not his and that is RED SEATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
