| The lad needs enrolling on an anger management course. He runs hard and he's got a talent for slipping out the odd ball in the tackle but he's let the club down too many times now.

The trouble is it's not anger or frustration, just dirty play.

Fair point he doesn't actually seem angry when he makes these indiscretions. More like a cold blooded assassin.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.: |

| Quote: MarioRugby "Frustrating thing is that we could all see that Hock was starting to get frustrated and annoyed when he was giving penalties away. Only person who couldnt see it was Iestyn Harris who should've substituted him. Poor coaching.'"
If you are a Wigan fan you will have an excuse for your coach who had the last player to be sent off in the 2014 campaign,in the 1st minute of that game, and have 2 players banned, both half backs,so far this campaign - Smith and Powell.
Hock was also 'nurtured' by the Wigan club and signed by former Wigan coach Noble.
I don't think even you can hold Iestyn Harris responsible for that lot.

In fairness, I think Wane would be the last to tell his half backs to aim petulant kicks at opposition players at the end of a game.
He more favours attacking the knees of stationary players, putting pressure onto the joints (they do it too often for it to be individual player decisions) and late hits on the kicker/passer.

That's so 2013, moved onto other evil plans to take over the world.

| Maybe the club should stop his wages whenever he is banned. At this rate we'd save a small fortune

| Interesting fact: Since 2008, Gareth Hock has played 110 games and has been banned for 102.

Because he is a top class forward although he came with baggage. Was he worth the risk? Probably not but we were a team that nearly went out of business, so at the time i know i was excited by this signing but it's gamble that hasn't paid off you learn from your mistakes

At the time, Brian Noble was in charge and he obviously felt he could control him and in all fairness I don't recall him picking up a suspension at all during Nobles spell in charge? Infact, I'll go as far to say as he didn't pick up a single sin binning whilst BN was our head coach.
I'm sure someone will tell me otherwise if I'm wrong?

No he didn't but he got injured after 3 games and was then out for around 6-8 weeks by this time Harris had come in.

| Wasn't he win binned away at London for punching one of their players who had wound him up in a previous tackle? I'm thinking a hooker/2nd rower on loan from one of the clubs up here. Scrum collapsed and Hock lumped him. Was utterly predictable as soon as the other player tried to hurt him a tackle or so earlier
