He confirmed to me once he's written his report, this is sent to the editor for final editing prior to print. I have lost count the amount of times an incorrect caption has accompanied a photograph etc but these aren't Barkers issues but the editors.
So Barkers saying publicly that his editor is a terrible journalist. Maybe he should say that face to face to his boss.
