| Best performance of the season, no doubt. Am I right in thinking that's the first time we've ever scored 50+ in Super League?
One of those games where everyone played well, special congrats to the forwards who got on top of Bradford's pack (more of the same please!) and Daniel Holdsworth. Some idiot on here the other day claimed he was rubbish, not interested, taking the money etc. Well I hope they saw that yesterday. When the forwards allow him to get into the game he is mesmerising at times, he chooses the right option so often and his link up play with Luke Patten is a joy when we're on form. Seriously if we can win the battle in the middle of the park, more often than not those guys will do the damage. Pure class.
Obviously a big well done to Gibbo and Henry as well, they absolutely murdered that wing.
All in all a great day and I'm so glad I chose Solly over the derby now!

Sorry wasn't meant to be dig at the footie ( I watch premiership football ) but Salford will always come first if there's a clash, so I don't 'hate Football' or for that matter Cricket or Rugby Union. I was just congratulating those that were there for the great atmosphere dispite the diminished crowd. I feared the worst (usual SKY abject performance/ low crowd / no atmosphere ) but was unfounded.

| Think personally today proves that it is a confidence thing, if they had have scored a second try early I have little doubt we would have folded.
Think that we have two extremely destrusctive wing/centre partnerships and in Godwin I personally think we have made our best signing for a good few years, we now need to work on consistancy, though again I will say what I said a few days ago that when the weather gets hotter we will I think become increasingly hard to beat.
For me though the joy to watching is how well Patten reads the games and hits the gaps at just the exact right moment, reminds me of when Shaun Edwards started at Wigan and played full back, I can see him creating more and more gaps and not always because he has the ball but because opposition teams will be watching for him.

| It was an excellent win last night however I think we need to keep our feet firmly on the ground.
Looking at Bradford's squad I'd rate them as team that you'd not expect to finish higher than 7th and that is only if everything went for them. Last night they were extremely poor. Much of their play broke down through very poor skill levels.
Yes we can only beat what is put in front of us but we should not expect Salford to play that way every week when the opposition will be better.
The next two games being Warrington and Huddersfield any win would be a bonus but I'll be satisfied if both games are competitive with no sign of capitulation.

| Watched the game again on sky.Thought the ref had a poor game last night , but on re-play he got most of his decisions spot on !!Very pleased with the effort of all the team, especially Feka who had his best game for us by far.Had a really good feeling we were going to do well last night. Why was Vievers in charge ? Why not Simms? Whatever, keep up the good work.

Well said SS . Fair enough people chose to go to the willows, i for one was gutted at not going, but couldnt miss the Derby. How many of the so called loyal fans that went today go to the away ones as well?

| In the debate between footie and RL, if you have a ticket for Wembly then I understand not going to Salford but watching on TV rather than a live game no excuses for me.
Great performance against a very poor Bradford side.
Some great team work and great to see the players playing up to the shed.
Still struggling to speak

Thats me as well after 40 odd years watching Salford I realised I am disloyal, on the say so of the almightier than thou brigade. The score yesterday was the silver lining I needed after yesterday, the match at Wembley was a poor game with very few shots on target 8 in all 6 to United 2 to City, but that was only a small part of it. The coach i was on broke down at Oxford services, this meant catching a bus (the bus stop had real time info so we knew the bus was only 5 mins away) £3.50 to Thame station, Train to London £9 one way, lots of beer £4 a pint, no coach home, mad dash to Euston for last train home £5 tube fare £69 one way to manchester, train was then further delayed after the driver thought we hit something, so all in all my £30 return coach to Wembley cost me an extra £86.50, happy days and a sore head.
But perhaps I should give up my season ticket for Salford, or stop paying the lifeline draw £2 a week since 1984, 2 £10 wins and a £75 win, or not bother with my second season of sponsoring each try home and away for a £1 and rip up my membership of Forever Reds, all because I also support United, and Lancs at cricket as well.

| Congratulations on the win, you impressed and played some very good rugby.
We simply did not turn up on the day and that was by far our poorest performance of season, one that has got a number of our fans very concerned.
Hopefully we will have better luck with injuries over the next few weeks and be in a better position to give you a closer game at the end of next month, I would ask that you judge us then.
Good luck for the season.
