If Mason can put another 1000 on the average home gates at Craven Park, help get them to a final or attract new sponsors then it could be a good move. If neither of these things happen he will considered by most to be a complete waste of money. It will be interesting to see what commercial impact a very high profile overseas player has in the British game these days.
