Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

| Quote: mctiques headband "due to his inept coaching we could lose probably one off the best stand offs we have had since kenny gill if steff says feck this i am off if an offer from the big clubs comes in who will see him as a great stand off half and not a winger/centre'"
Plenty of stand-offs started their first class career in the outside backs.
The key to making them a real success is getting the timing right when you move them to the halves. Bradford didn't do that with Leon Pryce, hence they lost him to Saints. We need to make sure we don't do the same with Ratchford. However that doesn't necessarily mean giving him the number 6 jersey instantly. It certainly doesn 't mean McRae is an 'inept coach'?!
If we'd gone into this season with Myler and Ratchford as first choice halfbacks fans would've complained at a lack of experience in key positions. Personally, I think the pressure has been taken off Myler by having Smith as his fall guy. Who would fans have turned on if Ratchford had been first choice stand off?

One of you is clearly lying ... I know where my money is.
IMHO it's no coincidence that one of you is also illiterate.

| For what it's worth i would like to see the clubs attitude change.
for as long as i can remember (i go back to the late seventies) we always sack the coach and then move on to the next one and then repeat it again every two years or so.
why for a change can't we look at other areas of the club and that includes us the fans and ask is everything how it should be for the coach and players to give their best because i for one am sick of the it;s only salford it don't matter attitude from everyone connected with the club.
p s
this is not a back or sack the coach post but a plea for everyone the fans the club officials and staff to have a look in the mirror and ask themselves am i doing everything i can to change the perception of the club because that is whats needed most at the willows

| did anyone here fitz on gmr last thursday night when asked about what was stefs best position was he answered that 6 was his best and would be a future international in 2 years the next bit surprised me when he said but for some unknown reason he keeps playing him week after week out of position dont think there is much love lost between mcrae and fitz by the way he was talking about him and couldnt understand how after he ripped saints apart he was back in the centre the next week as i said in an earlier post mccrae is inept

3596.jpg this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning

He came out with the same comments when we got hammered away at Cas earlier on in the season
He's a mard end of, maybe he got bullied at school or something!

32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

I remember a situation with Wakefield a few years ago. They were on a terrible losing run and went to Knowsley Road and got hammered.
After the match the Wakey fans made a quiet, orderly protest and refused to leave the ground. From memory the protest really hit home with the players/coaches and the effort and enthusiasm was raised to a different level from that point on.
I'm not suggesting that this is something Salford fans should consider but it's amazing how adversity can often work in your favour.
Roll on Friday and let's see which players put their bodies on the line after last weeks 2nd half debacle?
