like many on here from the off this season,i have been emanding ratchford play in his natural position,stuff mylers huge contract offer,give it to steph and adamson.

I was proud to be a salford fan tonite

Thanks to those sporting saints fans giving us credit. Those that say we only won becuase Saints were crap, ever stop and think that we put you under pressure and that is why you were crap?

To be honest, I wasn't looking forward to this game. I just hoped that we could keep the score down and some of the players would perform well and give me hope for the future.

At 6-0 I was happy, 12, 16 couldn't believe it. I was thrilled by the first half performance, but again I was filled with doubt for the second half. Saints score after 5 mins, then down to 12 men................then IN WE GO AGAIN!!!!! After Long went off it was game over.

Ratchford deserved his MOM. Also thought Swain was outstanding. Fantastic effort. This highlights why we do follow the Team through more thin and thick. Truly a night to remember, thanks boys!!!

...............and thanks to all the nice comments about our performance by the Saints fans on the way home.

spot on Sheddy, I remember what Stapleton said at last year awards evening that it was a pleasure to play alongside Steph. that his enthusiasm for the game was a breath of fresh air. Also a big rap for Sidlow and Jason Walton, Mcgilvray and Adamson they did us proud tonight. also great to see the reaction of the Aussie's Swain & Stapleton. The Shed CAN make a difference when we give 'em the support they deserve and they appreciated it . worth ever penny of my season ticket for these moments ..

The whole crowd played a part. Our support is not just in the shed. It showed when they came to us behind the sticks as well.

I said exactly the same thing to my mate If they played like that every game or even every other game, then I 'd happily pay alot more for my season ticket shirt or no shirt. tonight they made me so proud they were amazing they reaaly gelled. does anyone know where i can get a copy of todays game, for brother in afghanistan.

Sorry but that shouldn't take away from the fact that Salford managed to dominate the whole game they were by far the better team on the night and that was clear from very early on.
