This is something I have wondered too. As I said I only joined today but have read the forum for a long time and every post from him seems to be Ratchford this and Ratchford that. Since Goulding came he has also slagged Goulding off at every turn, presumably because Ratchford's spot on the wing is under threat. He even started a thread on the Wigan forum last week demanding that Wigan take Goulding back and tried to blame him for 4 tries.

Other than the defensive lapse and the suicide pass in-goal Smith wasn't that bad anyway. He even showed a bit of an attacking mind when he dabbed a kick through and tried to regather in the 2nd half, and was a little unlucky not to but it got put into touch by Hull - that's when he picked up the knock when he collided with Horne I think.

When sidlow broke anyone think he could of gone alone ?

He could have probably tried to run over Horne who isnt the strongest of players. It all happens in a split second and ultimately I would say he did the right thing, its just a pity that Myler dropped it.

I thought Hull's pack played very well, particularly in defence.

Jeremy Smith should put in a bit more of an effort with ball in hand. On the occasions I have seen Smith play, including the times I watched him Down Under, I have felt underwhelmed. I would have thought both Ratchford or Paul would be better options at 6.
