Hopefully there will be some more torrential rain in Hull again this summer.

Does it really matter how many fans teams have FFS? I've just watched Wigan v Bradford and saw the usual turn out from Bradford fans at an away game. The same can be said of Leeds when they go away they don't take alot.

At the end of the day there needs to be 14 teams to have a league. If we got rid of the teams that some of you morons don't like you would be playing Hull KR v Hull KR reserves each week or Warrington Wolves v Woolston Rovers.

Perhaps the Wolves might win 1 or 2 that way and "playing with yourselves" suits Hull KR down to the ground doesn't it

it does say alot for our club though when we got 3700 or whatever it was on friday and celtic got 6500! thought the club brought some new guy in to increase attendances and promote the club? i used to see advertising boards scattered around the height area and in weaste but you see nothing now!

OK Celtic got 6500 against Saints, our first two homw games have been against 2 of the 3 worst supported away following teams. There was no more than 50 away supporters at both games combined, these should be our lowest crowds for the season now, if not we really are in trouble and this new guru for marketing is not doing his job.
An aside why plastic glasses in the club before the match, that has put me off going into the place before a game now, I hate drinking from plastic glasses it taints the taste of the beer, another thing that as not been thought through. It made the variety centre feel tacky, and the "DJ" well the less said the better, hula hoops!!!!!!!!!
If i was visiting for the first time i would not want to go back

agreed i finished work at 4.30 Friday working at the printworks took me 3/4hr to get home by then had to get shower and changed. usually set off at 6 to get to the willows and have a drink before hand. sounds very do able to get there for kick off but this is someone living and working close, anyone else with a different shift/ end of working time and location would find it difficult.

no one wants to be rushing after work to get to the willows that why Sundays should be it no one really does much Sundays and nothing better sun out nice an warm and off to watch some rugby.

this about bringing back the good old days fair enough it was packed back then but this is the modern world where people work longer and harder to survive. also does damage any away support coming down unless your in the same region your not gonna struggle to get down here.

this needs to be brought up again to the club as they are not living in the real world maybe they don't wont to work weekends but to be fair 3,000 hardcore fans don't wont to be rushing to get to a Friday match.

It affects the taste of the beer, or whatever else you might be drinking from it. And not in a good way.

I don't think the club have complete control over fixture dates and times.

The RFL and Sky dictate a lot.

Did Hull not choose to have every game this season on a Friday night?
We also changed our sunday games to 3.30 ages ago. So when every other game kicks off at 3 on a sunday we kick off at 3.30 because the club believe it brings more fans in.

I can't know for certain.

I was just assuming really that it can't just be that easy to pick and choose your fixture dates and times.

Maybe you can.

Salford made the decision to change from Sundays to Fridays. I believe it was chosen because it's better for Corporate Hospitality and the like.
