I hope we don’t waste a bench spot on Tomkins, but I am sure we will. I don’t see the point in spelling between Lee and Tomkins, neither compliments the other like Lee and Hood did last season. Both are too similar ie 80 minute hookers who are solid in defence but offer no threat from dummy half.

Is Sa'u injured? Thought he looked fitter than I've seen him pre season and showed a fair turn of pace last Friday for one of the trys.

Think when Lannon gets a regular starting spot he will make a name for himself, there seems to be a real glut of quality British 2nd row forwards ATM, let's hope he joins them.

JGR you're dropping to many players there Tomkins, Sarsfield, GOB & Joseph. 2 of these will have to play which makes me think a prop is needed asap!

I get the feeling that Sky Sports don't like us, this will be the third year in a row that Sky have shown this fixture early in the season and we've been battered both times.
