Would be nice if they had done this right and told people by now, quite a few fan will need to get time of work at a very busy period of the year. Making a big song and dance of announcing the games has wasted 3 days that would have allowed people more time to make plans.

Aside from the fact final positions were not actually decided till 5pm on Sunday night, you have stadium availability as some share with football clubs and its the start of the footy season, which games are wanted by SKY in both the Super and Middle 8s and various other things to consider

I feel sorry for the one London Broncos away fan, he has to schedule his travel and possible hotel up north at such short notice. Same goes for Catalan s.

Have the RFL changed the criteria. The original formula I got from them showed that if we finished 11th we got the rank ref 5 and this showed us having to play Wakefield Sheffield and Hull KR ie ranks 6 7 & 2 with Widnes Leigh Bradford and Halifax away ie ranks 1 3 4 & 8 Now Leigh and Hull KR appear to have been exchanged. When was the change made?
