Also, the NRL is a different ball game to the Super League it would be interesting to see whether Marwan has the capital available to him to go in, strengthen the Knights and make them successful again.

I think it’s a perfectly crumulent word.

It's a medical word - or more correctly - a scientific word - referring to the way different parts of the body work together.
Like many medical words, it also has colloquial usage.

I know, it's just one of those words that's been adopted by 'Business' and is thrown about Powerpoint presentations the world over.

In a business context, synergy is the idea that 2+2 = 5. It is used quite a lot when mergers/acquisitions are taking place.

Anyhow, on topic. If we can indeed learn from the Newcastle youth structures then it would be fantastic, but regardless of how good our structures and facilities are we still have the obstacle to overcome of us (by a distance) not being the most popular sporting draw in town in terms of getting local youngsters playing.

If only we had had the foresight years ago to have something like a large licenced social club at our ground, we would never have had any money troub... oh, hang on...

Think we'd see pre season in Australia if the Doc did buy Newcastle. You'd think having both squads training together for a certain spell and maybe playing a warm up game or two would benefit both teams and certainly from our point of view be an improvement on this years South Africa experiment.
