Played shocking, will be glad to see him leave. Defence is dire. Cost us dearly for the last couple of games.

| Bit harsh saying he was at fault for all four tries when I think they all came from line breaks where other players had failed to make tackles.
I thought he looked dangerous with ball in hand on numerous occasions tonight and was our best attacking threat by far IMO.

I thought Theo walked man of the match tonight some of the things he was doing were great to see.

| Can't believe the penny is just dropping, it's not a case of 'can't' tackle, he won't even attempt to make a tackle. Watch the videos of each of our previous games and it's the same story; it's embarrassing.
The reason he's being played at fullback is because Nobby knows he will be 'spotted' all night in the defensive line (to be fair that also happened to Sneyd throughout the first half) and I guess accepts the fact that once the line is breached it's a try.
Whoever suggests playing this lad at loose forward...WTF???!!! You do realise what that role entails, right?
Sad but true, he's a very skilful player but will not make it in Super League as he doesn't have the necessary technique in defence and, more critically, the 'stones.' Genuine shame as he is a talented attacker.

Totally agree. He's got a heart like a breeze block too and is always ready to put his body on the line in defence. Great kid.

Reminds me of a young Paul Deacon (not just because he wears a scrum cap) but the way he moves passes and takes on the line.

That's a good comparison, although I think once we've got a pack that puts us on front foot his running game will be better than deacon's.

Yep agree with you there Deacon was a kicking master just like Sinfield at Leeds. Theo would have a better attacking game that Deacon.

| He wears the skull cap because of a cowardly French attack.
That's not the first time that's been said.
Theo is a talent, looks good even with a shocking pack and for me is a star for a good few years to come at Salford.
Hope he get's a starting role for France in the world cup and shows his worth.

| Harsh to blame Gaskell, as had previously been mentioned Leeds broke the line regularly so where's the blame on those missing the initial tackle? He isn't a full back either, never has been and never will be. Again though not his fault.
Theo MOM all day. He's nothing lie Deacon either, far more dangerous.

| Gaskell is our only strike player at present , he's in the team on merit.
I would Sneyd or Evalds at fullback, and Play Gaskell at 6 . He is no fullback.
McGoldrick running out of the line was responsible for Leeds 1st score. Leeds with burrow Hardaker, Watkins and Jones Bishop had enough class to break SL defences and there were others missing one on one tackles other than Gaskell.
Fages was easily the best Reds player on the pitch last night. The number of times opposition defences target him shows that.

Think you can add Sutcliffe to that list as well. He looked a really classy and confident runner setting up Leeds' first try.
One on ones with Burrow, Hardaker were always going to show Gaskell in a poor light .
Don't know where Gaskell's career is going. The difference between his attack and defence is unbelievable.

| i think the attitude and the style at which gaskell played is what botherd me more in his attempt to tackle the player who broke the line , turning his back to a on running player was amateurish, running at burrow in a curve motion rather than standing his ground and moving left and diving at him would of shown the effort and also he has let players just run past him with no attempt at tackling them. i guess this is why he is at full back i would love to see him in the halfs just to see what he is able to do as attacking he can do some good things

| If Gaskell upped his defensive game he'd be one of the best. Great attacker, but poor in defense.
