I know they've got injuries, but I'm seriously fearing the worse already. We couldn't even contain a weakened Cas pack that included the likes of Ste Nash, How an earth are we going to stop that front row?
Roby and Puleuta will be unstoppable and have the time of their lives leaving the half backs to do their thing on the front foot.

Not a big supporter of Smith at hooker, but understand why you would suggest it. He has more experience than Howarth, so wouldn't be a bad shout.
However, GIBSON? Other than hell no, my feelings are the sooner we get him out of the club the better. He is a complete liability in defence and never puts his body on the line. Main example are the two tries he conceeded against Catalans Dragons last season. Both would have been prevented if it wasn't for incredibly weak tackles. I could be wrong, but didn't Moon play right centre last season, so Moon could move across and Nero play right side.
Assuming Smith plays hooker, I'd go with:

I'd leave Matty Smith @ 7 for starters. I'd be tempted to bring Owen in and rotate him and Howarth but I think I'd go for Sneyd as he gives options at half back with Smith moving to hooker

. In response to HR, I spotted Ashurst's knees in the MEN and they didn't look good. I'm sure it said he'd been unable to train all week. Having had some pretty nasty injuries from old school AstroTurf, they scab up pretty bad then tend to rip off at the slightest bend of the legs. He'll need a fair bit of TLC to get him right for tonight. FWIW, they look more like carpet burns to me
