Sounds like good news, are there actually any updated plans and images asthink since the orrigional application was submitted things have changed slightly, would be nice to see them.
Can't wait now to see progress on my way to and from work over the bridge.

Salford City Reds CEO, David Tarry said:

This announcement removes any lingering doubts surrounding the project, and confirms that Salford City Reds will be competing in a brand new stadium by the end of next year (2011) – a timeframe which will fit in perfectly with our bid for a Super League licence for 2012-2015.

| Yeah all well and good I want to know 3 things. 1. What will the stadium be called? 2. How will i get there as there's only one bus that goes that route. & 3. What happend to the Myler money?  Great news, a lot has gone on behind the scenes over a long period by all parties involved to get to this point that most wont know and never will. Well done to us all onward and upwards people. |

There are two buses that run that route! The 67 that runs every 10min during peak times and 20mins off-peak, half hourly on Sundays. Secondly there is nthe 100 that runs from Manchester to Warrington/Irlam Via the Trafford Cen this too is also a half hourly service. Other than that you could get the 68 or any other bus (dont know the numbers but there are a few) to Peel Green Roundabout/ Brookhouse and it will be a short walk from there!!
