why don't we put a running track around it and offer it to London for 2012, that would save them money and give us a state of the £150m stadium, saving London over £1billion it will cost for a stadium which will be built down there and knocked down after the event.
A few more events could be staged here as well, cycling and swimming to name but two, there i have saved the Olympic committee nearly £2billion and i have not even thought about all the events. They could just stage it in Manchester and save £8billion, but Seb Coe wants it all for them down south and will spend other people's money to get it as his legacy.

The fact is, as long, drawn out and depressing as the process has been for us so far - we are a long way down the line and we will see significant movement soon.

We need to Build out of a recession not do nothing as the Tories want to do, large scale capital projects such as Media City, the new ground and the Race Course, plus new proper tram links to the ground and the Trafford centre. Put money in peoples pockets and they will spend.

Hmmm. It would be ironic if traffic congestion was a large factor in the rejection.
