| To be fair Noble should feel a little heat for that performance on Friday, the tactics were shocking and we were more akin to a bunch of headless chickens rather than highly paid sports stars.
As far as I'm concerned as head coach the buck stops with him to get the right game plan sorted for each and every game, Friday I think he got it very wrong.

| Yes,of course,if we are not winning the coach must feel the heat.
The buck stops with him, injuries or not.
I certainly think Noble will come through but he must be feeling the pressure and that's the way it should be

| This warm weather training and 'time to gel' isn't original.( In fairness I doubted it but proved myself wrong )
rlHe Tried It As GB Coachrl
I was beginning to think it was just spin but as it is in his mindset why were more pre-season games not played?
Getting it right against the top teams on or around Easter may be a challenge too far.
Anyway,a week is a long time in rugby league - the season starts next Sunday !

| Koukash is amateurish here, he's not behaving like a successful owner. He's just passing the buck and trying to be popular with the supporters for "speaking his mind".
Koukash is the man who said he would be 'honoured' if Noble would take the Salford job so if that appointment is going wrong whose fault is that? Noble would have never in a million years been at Salford under the old regime.
Koukash must have sanctioned all the new signings coming in too so they are his team. He's not a supporter he's the man taking the decisions so he has to accept responsibility with the rest of the group.
Sheikh Mansour never did this when Mark Hughes was City coach, he kept a dignified silence then moved to get Mancini in when he was available.
The more Koukash behaves like this the more other top coaches are just going to think this owner is a nightmare to work with, **** that, so Noble is as good as he is going to get.

I'd be pretty embarrassed to go on the Wire forum and lecture them on the pros and cons of Tony Smith and the backroom there. The reason being is that it would just be conjecture and poorly thought out guesswork. I wouldn't leave myself open by being an idiot. It's impressive that so many fans of other Clubs are either so clued-up on the goings-on of a Club they spend no time with, or are oblivious to how stupid they come across.
I know where my money is going on this one...

| Quote: StanLee "I look at the Doc as one of us - a supporter - and he has only said what most fans were stating after the match. He has more right than any of us to say it. We don't want sanitised comments when we all know the team are not playing to their capabilities.'"
Quote: StanLee "Koukash is amateurish here, he's not behaving like a successful owner. He's just passing the buck and trying to be popular with the supporters for "speaking his mind".'"
Quote: StanLee "Have to agree with Redgunner and Talent Spotter. Social media isn't the place for an club owner to be publicly criticising his own team's performances. Express your disappointment at the results by all means but leave at that. If the Doc isn't happy he should keep it private and take the matter up directly with Noble.'"
Quote: StanLee "I'd agree with that, except he hasn't said anything out of order in my opinion. Stating that the team have not performed seems fair enough to me.'"
Quote: StanLee "He needs to tread a fine line. As pointed out it is refreshing to have a senior figure putting forward an honest view of what is happening but there's a danger he puts the playing and coaching staff under unnecessary pressure (there's already strong perception publicly that he's likely to be trigger happy and I imagine the players are staff have a similar perception in the back of their minds).'"
Quote: StanLee "I can see where you are coming from, if I thought the criticism was useful and served a purpose I would be in favour, however all it seems to have done is to create negative headlines such as 'Devilution in crisis' in todays Sunday Mirror.'"
Quote: StanLee "Wouldn't official or media post match reaction be better coming from the man who Doc has employed to oversee such duties?'"
I think this sums it up. Yes, it is refreshing for an owner to speak his mind but he cannot class himself as a fan, because unlike the opinions of fans, everything he says publicly can be misconstrued, purposely or otherwise, to sell papers, get web hits etc. And there is little point having a media function at the club if Koukash continues to flout it.

Whether you like it or not, the whole Koukash/Salford 'project' is this season's big story, so its inevitable that RL fans will take an interest in what is happening at your club and will obviously try to interject with some 'views-from-the-outside' - Obviously, some will come across as pure conjecture, but isn't that the norm on any internet forum??....However much you Salford fans think Koukash is keeping you all in the know, the likelihood is you probably know as much as those who you accuse of idle gossip.
Personally, I think this particular thread has been a decent debate and most of the views have been perfectly valid.... I actually think its interesting to read the views from all angles, and for us Warrington fans, your situation is a particularly interesting one because its fair to say we went through the process of what is happening with you, with the exception that Mr Koukash seems intent on putting most things publicly on the line, whereas Simon Moran preferred the role of the quiet investor.

I'd go along with that.

| As a RL fan, I'm feel embarrassed by the Docs latest tweet aimed at Dennis Betts...
"Some coaches need to improve their attitude 'by a million miles' and show more respect to other clubs' players. Mate, enjoy your glory"
