| I got two words the wrong way around whilst typing quickly. Hang me.
Now that you've got the gist of what I was saying, can you enlighten me as to how, as a Huddersfield fan, you know what contract Wild got?

If YOU got your words confused so that your sentence made no sense then it might be better to refrain from saying:
[uI'll break it down into real simple talk, then.[/u
Your condescending approach is pathetic when it is your inability to communicate, not my ability to comprehend, that was at fault.
As for your question. As a Huddersfield fan I attended the end of season dinner ( end of season but we had play off games to play). As a Huddersfield fan I had spoken to SW several times. As a Huddersfield fan I asked him about his deal with Salford. SW could not believe he was going to get so much and for 3 years. HTH

Well I'm sorry for not realising I'd made a fairly simple typo. I'm also sorry you couldn't work out what I'd actually meant. And final apologies, but it seemed I was right to label you a bellend, regardless of my own f*ck up.

Now if only you'd explained that in the first place. I'm still not convinced it means we're spending shedloads of cash and are anywhere near the cap, but you now have a bit more credibility. Thanks.

I am sorry you cannot make yourself understood. Your response to your error was graceless.
Whether you are convinced or afford me any credibility is irrelevant. Salford have substantially increased player expenditure in 20011/12 this has not been matched by on field performance or revenues. This is why smith has gone, Holdworth is being touted around and the 'replacement' for Patten will not be on a similar salary. I do not agree with Salford supporters re salaries in 2011/12. However I do agree that in 2013 / 14 the salary spend will be substantially lower than most SL clubs.

I see you made up a season we're 18,000 years away from to support your argument so I would suspect that we will be spending a lot more then.
Wrong wrong wrong, you come on here knowing only a very small part of the player expenditure at Salford, you spoke to one player who as with anyone going somewhere else it is always for more money, (the grass is Greener springs to mind), why would he tell you what he or any other player was getting?
For one player expenditure was cut this season from the season 2010/2011, we are well under the cap, thats why Ratchford went, we could not afford what he wanted, but I lay my hat down to some one who knows so much they can see so far into the future, do you have this Friday's lottery numbers, then Salford could pay the full cap.

Oh a typo! I will not be as graceless as GT re this type of error.
The 18000 years stuff is...inspid. Oh dear.
Re Wild, do try and keep up. SW is on LESS money than his last contract at the Giants. However it is far more than he was offered to stay (for a year) and he got a 3 year deal. If you want to pretend that Wild, Patten, Holdsworth, Smith, Anderson , Feka , bailey (severence forms part of the salary spend)etc etc etc were all taking well below the market rate then do so.
Your Ratchford comments show you are out of your depth. Clubs will determine what they will pay a player. If other clubs have a higher valuation / have fewer players in that position /offer better coaching / offer better chances of winning silverware / offer better chances of international honours etc then they may outbid a club. The salary cap may not be a deciding factor.
Many are aware of players taking cuts / waiting for payments. This could as easily suggest that a club extended itself too far on salaries (paying near to the cap) and is now cutting back. HTH.

Do keep up yourself, I already said that SW was on less money per season, or do you want me to explain it in words of one syllable or less, Jw stated at the start of the season that wages this year would less than last year, but YOU would know better than him because you had dinner with SW. The club went all out last year to try and big up the move and get bigger crowds in and so bring in more revenue to pay for this. Well the players were not that good and the crowds didn't come, plus this year the club has lost some revenue streams again stated by the chairman. As for Ratchford and Myler before him they were offered more money than at Salford, and yes McRae coaching was also part, but the Salary Cap is not the deciding factor but the ability to pay upto the max of the Salary Cap that determines what you pay your players. The fact is Salford are paying less this year than they did last year, but if you don't want to believe it thats upto you, but what is it like in the year 20012?

Oh dear. You are slow. When JW says wages in 2012 will be less than 2011 it does not mean Salford are not near to full cap in 2011 and 2012...just 2012 is less than 2010. HTH. The discussion with SW has no bearing on this.
You say wild is on less money yet write this:
