Long range kicking game poor - probably our worst aspect with him.

Short-kicking game better, particularly with the chip through/over the top for himself.

I look forward to seeing that, I can't remember the last time a Salford player did a little chip over and followed it up! Luke Robinson was great at it

I believe we are winning the second half of our games 81-19 so far so If we are still in it at half time I believe we will have a chance today. I can just see us starting slow though and letting you a 2 or 3 try lead by half time.
We have to lose sometime and if we do lose today then I won't be too disheartened as it's London next week and we will be 6 from 7 which is still a great start to Superleague.

Our second halves have been poor so far, and this is what worries me about today. If Cas stay consistent they will win it. However, if we actually click this week (Something we haven't really done yet) we could be in for a decent win.

The hard part is judging which two sides will turn up today. So the game is winnable by both sides.

Our first halves haven't been brilliant either. We seem to be a bit lacking in ideas in attack, so the most significant returnee this week might be Sean Long rather than Rangi.

At this stage, our attack can only get better. One thing's for sure, it will get better. We've got too many good strike players for it to languish like it has.

Well done Salford. knew we were going to lose today but il still be happy with 6 wins rom 7 if and when we beat London on Thursday.

Cas took a good following

yeah , specky report here :0) 5700 plus a few more , and 1 cas hag ejected

cas had a bigger support than wakey and were 1500 down on the opening game , hopefully today will bring them back

Much better from Salford, Chase made a big difference, other players had more room to play. Makes you realise what an important player Chase is. The drop goal was key, the kicking game overall was much improved.
Saying that, we were lucky that Cas dropped a lot of ball, and it felt like we were on the right end of the penalty count??

Good win today. Attendances must be way up on last season, consistently above 5,000 with a team still gelling gives a lot to build on.
