| It's simple if its not a sunny dry day we don't have a clue? We didn't throw it outwide all match tried to play up the middle and didn't do anything as our forwards are to lightweight. Different conditions and it would of been a different result but like you say you can't go off the Ifs and buts.

| I thought Hull KR were the worst team I've seen this year. Even worse than London and Widnes. And still they won. They defended reasonably well, particularly in the second half, but we made it so easy for them. Easily worst Salford performance of this season (and maybe even last!).
Despite that we still should have won. We got ahead and then in the next set, their heads went down, we were making easy yards as our forwards were suddenly fired up and then Holdsworth decided to kick on the 4th, it was a shocking kick by the second tackle they were in our half and were interested again.
Referee was appalling but we should have won comfortably despite that and we have absolutely no excuses for that performance or result. Not happy today

| HKR are worst team I have seen this season yet they ran out comfortable winners with a patched up side. We were lethargic from the start, never played with any desire or conviction. This was as bad a performance as I have seen in a long time and to cap it all off a pleasant 45 minutes spent stuck in the car park after the match. Shocking attendance today as well despite the much vaunted afternoon kick off - doubtless we will blame it on the weather again not the fact we are in freefall as usual.

| Think people are being a bit harsh on Hull KR. They weren't great by any stretch but played the conditions much better, especially first half. Simple rugby forcing 3 or 4 goal line drop outs compared to our options of either a speculative bomb or when we did put a good kick in giving a stupid penalty away to relieve the pressure. We were pretty woeful and any time we got a chance to put some pressure on we managed to knock on or constantly take the wrong option. The lack of any sort of plan B when the Hull KR players came out of the line to close down our attacking plays was also pretty shocking.

| Do you not think that the wing play is our only plan? Hudds knew to get out fast and stop us spraying the ball out wide. Wigan did and now KR. We lack pack size so teams know this is the only way we can play.
Saying that I think today we did have a plan b. And thaet was to revert back to mcrea tactics

Congrats you have been beaten by the worst team you have seen all season - bottom spot beckons!

I suspect Phil Veivers may have taken your advise. Unfortunately, for him (and you) our pack grew some balls and we had a 21 year old prop scoring 2 tries in the last 10 mins. Not bad for a tired out prop.
Message to Mr Veivers - take no notice of Hull fans if you want a game plan.

It was a particularly poor game, both sides didn't really have a clue. However, given our form (lost 4 of last 5) going into the game, I'd take a scratchy 2 points any day of the week at this stage. Salford were naff, we were not quite as naff, the weather was naff and Tim Roby naffer (for both sides I might add).

You say HKR were comfortable winners with a patched up side.
So surely in view of your comments it is Salford who are the worst team you have seen this season.

| We have proved we can play great attacking rugby league at times and when we have the conditions and momentum like against Widnes, Bradford and London we have been good to watch. On two occassion when we have needed to grind out results we have failed though. Cas and HKR were winnable games that although certain things went against us we should still have the time to win the game.
Dobson was the difference between the teams. When they held onto the ball he built pressure with an excellent kicking game.

| Bitterly disappointed with the result on Monday. We really could have won this one, even in the dying minutes.More so because the people who were there for the first time under the MENs offer will no doubt not bother again. I am fed up now [ after over 20 years of watching ] with being perrenial mid/bottom of table strugglers. Its a vicious circle, we need bigger crowds to afford better players. We wont get bigger crowds unless we win consistently, mainly against our closest rivals. Its no use getting the odd win here and there against a "BIG " team.Bigger gates = more cash. The only way forward is for big investment in players. Thats never going to happen with the present board.I know , I know , we wouldnt even be here without Wilky, but I just wish we could be taken over by someone with plenty of lolly, and get some top class players...

| Shame that we always reserve our performances like that for any match that we try to build up as an occasion for the floating fans. Anyone who has been lured there on the whispers that Salford have become Super League's new entertainers will be asking for a refund under the trades description act. Anyone who has not watched us this season will think those of us who have, and have been waxing lyrical about the exciting brand of rugby we've been playing, have been on the meths
