Why would a good result on the pitch change anything?
To be fair, JM's gripe is all about the backroom stuff.
I agree with him too. In fact, it's more credit to the players who can guide themselves to perform like they did when none of them knows who the hell is coaching from week to week.
Besides, I'm sure it will be all doom and gloom mongerers on here after Easter anyway.  |

Spot on there YR..............AND I have a dream too! (not the wet one I had about The Reds getting into the top eight last night). Where all the whinging fookers that go on and on and on week in and week out calling for a new coach (again), and it doesn't seem right that Malc Alker didn't deserve this,and "Bomber" should be transported (again) to Sweden. And the burgers are a rip off.
I have a dream that one day on the Red hills of Salford: the sons of former postmen and the sons of former welders will be able to sit down together at the table of Red Hall.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day this team will rise up and live out the true potential of its squad: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all teams are created equal."

And his gripe is somewhat irrational. The club have commented on both incidents. Unfortunately, as supporters we need to learn to accept that employment issues are not to handled via the media.

i hung back on this 5 year season deal thing, and that is looking like a good thing too!! a club with no direction. i listened on the radio tonight and i feel for all who travelled over.
and before people who question my motives , ive been everywhere with the reds and am proud to said so.

I have already done a response to this post but it seems to be lost in cyber space.
I have a few good mates who are Reds fans and a few on here know i enjoy a bit of Reds baiting as do you fans about Swinton.
However having read all the posts on this thread I am of the honest opinion that nobody is right and nobody is wrong about if they will or wont go to another game, It doesn't make you any less of a supporter of the team you love, trust me I know many Lions fans who never watched them again after the loss of Station Rd a few are drifting back on the back of we are down at the Willows and the fact we are having a half decent season for a change.
It isn't easy watching your team loose on a regular basis or by large marging and I should know, it affects people differently on how they perceive the Club some will watch threw think and thin other loose that little bit of interest but it makes them no less of a fan.
The problems Salford are currently having require a strong chairman and board to sort the non playing side out, then a coach who isn't affraid to be his own man and stand up to one or two of the longer serving employees of Salford who seem to pull the strings.
Most importantly however is that you the fans stick together and cut the bickering I am seeing on here, the club has plenty going for it...A move to Barton ( still not sure it's in the best place), another 3years of super league where you are safe from relegation( something i think is wrong with rugby league whoever the bottom club is) and also the fact that week in week out you see the best Rugby league players at some point,sadly something I as a Swinton fan will be denied unless the powers that be have a rethink at sometime.
There can only be one way for Salford now and that is upward(and that as A staunch Lions fan is hard to say) and with time I am sure you will get there, made easier by a strong united support.
