Big game this saturday, after such a great performance against St Helens im interested in how the players will perform in france, remember the last time we turned up a big performance against St Helens we put in a shocking performace against a weak Celtic side the week after and got beat, which deflated the rest of our season.

Catalan Dragons are a different class to the Celtic side was then but we will need to reach the same levels of performance we did against St Helens to get a result i feel in france.

I just hope the players are physically and metally ready for the challenge which lyes ahead and dont sit back and live on last weeks performance because its yesterdays chip paper,its chance that its going to be a "typical salford" kind of moment here unless the players pull another performane out of the bag lets see what the players are made of saturday.

SHERWIN SET FOR DRAGONS MOVE


[iCatalans Dragons are poised to complete a surprise swoop for Castleford's Australian scrum half Brent Sherwin.

The Perpignan club, currently languishing at the foot of the Engage Super League, are thought to have turned to the 25-year-old after failing to secure the short-term signature of Melbourne Storm half-back Brent Finch.

The Dragons have been searching for a playmaker since Adam Mogg returned to Australia in March and had even contemplated bringing Shane Perry back for a second stint after releasing him at the end of last season.

Sherwin is in his third season with the Tigers and was in their side that lost 40-24 to Harlequins on Sunday.

The Catalans are expected to announce the signing on Thursday, when Sherwin is due to fly out to France, and he could make his debut for them in their home game against Salford on Saturday night.

Sherwin would be eligible for the Dragons' Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final later this month because he missed Castleford's fourth-round tie against Barrow through injury.

he'll probably play a blinder as well! Just our luck! Still think we've got a great chance of getting a result. If we cut out the silly errors and penalities like against saints i think we'll win!

This game could not come at a worse time for us. Just put in a blinding performance and expectations are high. Everything is set up perfectly for disappointment. Really hope I'm wrong though.
