How do you know Mr Chase would like to see 12?

its unusual because if you watch it chase moves round the tackle to find the standing leg

Ferres appeared to be standing on both legs when Chase made the initial contact. Chase did move around the other two defenders but he could argue he did so to take the leg low and unbalance Ferres. It's an extremely unfortunate incident and I wish the player a speedy recovery.

unfortunately chase has form for this sort of thuggery. it really is a par of his game he just doesnt need. the guy can tackle absolutely fine without these sorts of tactics. gotta be 8 games, and to be fair for these sorts of instances i feel he should be out for as long as ferres is out for. i know its impossible to judge, but thats my 2ps worth

While Flower deserved a ban for what he did he didn't seriously injure Hohaiah. The ban was so long because it was at a high profile event. If Chase doesn't get a similar length ban (in terms of matches missed) for severely injuring an opponent and putting him out of the game for months then there is something seriously amiss with the disciplinary system.

Even as a Salford I can't really disagree with that, both offenses were deliberate.

That said there was no need for Weller to escalate things so deserves his ban. And for the one at Hudds. Needs to control himself better

I think it is comforting that so many people know what went on with Rangi when the attendance was less than 10000! The footage I have seen had both the referee & touch judge near the incident but neither could see anything wrong. The procedure of a third defender grabbing the leg is commonplace as anyone who watched the weekend TV games. I hope the Rfl has concrete evidence before giving Rangi a ban. I think the different footage should be published. If guilty then he deserves the ban.

yeah because the refs never get anything wrong. the very fact he has been charged with such a high grade tells you all you need to know.
