Have a look at the Manchester - Beziers Flights (Sorry Again with RyanAir but theyshouldn't charge for transfer) I got them for about £80.00 Return Fri - Monday. There's a direct Train about an hour each way £28.00 return.

im looking at car hire from barcelona airport for 5 days , looks pretty cheap , just trying to find out if u can take car into france with out incuring charges,

Just a thought,but has anybody ever thought of getting a coach load and stopping overnight half way etc. With a full coach the cost could be about the same as fifty airfares.I think it's about a thousand miles. Just a thought.

Hertz don't charge to take a car into France,from Spain. The other ' cheaper ' car hirers charge 8 euros per day

coach travel is more expensive then you think it would be,

First you need a coach company that is going to get you there, without breaking down etc,

it would take poss 17 hours from calias in a coach to perp. plus hotel if u going to stop overnite on the way down , ferry price aswell,, try getting a qoute for a 53 seater coach from a good firm and see what they come back with , you will be surprised,

i was a coach driver , i know.

Four of us have booked flights with Ryanair from Manchester to Beziers on Friday 2nd returning Monday 5th ( flights are still available) night in Beziers, two nights at Hotel Comfort in Perpignan, total cost £170. Trains to Perpignan pretty frequent, 15 euros each way. See you all in Perpignan

Brian, Similar to us but we're spending two nights in Beziers (Fri & Sun) and the one in Perpignan. Thought we'd explore Beziers as we've spent plenty of time in Perpignan before.

Just out of curiosity really, but has anyone taken up the club organised trip? The one they were advertising at the open day. I know it was quite expensive and I imagine most people will find cheaper alternatives.

I'm doing Thurdays - Tuesday in Lloret De Mar, flying to Girona from Manchester. Staying at Almirall apartments £111 between two of us for 5 nights not bad at all.

If you are coming across to France for the match against the Dragons why not spend a few days in St Cyprien, which is just down the coast from Canet and only 25 minutes from the stadium.

St Cyprien is the official seaside resort of the Dragons and has a long history of rugby league. Your players are probably staying at the Golf Club in St Cyprien as this is where visiting teams normally stay.

If you PM me I can give you information on properties available to rent and details of transport to and from the stadium. The properties are especially suitable for couples or families.

Our local Dragons supporters group will make any visiting supporters very welcome.
