I think someone should make it clear that Dr Koukash does not start these rumours.
Over on the 'Trust in Widnes' forum it is a Widnes follower(s) suggesting their players don't like the surface at Halton and name players signed by Salford.

Reading some of the stuff on their forum before and was surprised just how bitter some of them are towards us.
Wouldn't surprise me if agents of some of the various players we're linked to had 'leaked' rumours to the press to try and get them better deals. There does seem to be a lot of people saying Koukash needs to stop promising we'll sign Player X/Y/Z. Other than him saying we made an offer for Tomkins earlier in the season and possibly an approach for Morley, I've not seen him say in the press that we're after any specific players. |

Was just wondering with the whole raft of new measures announced over the last couple of days in Australia for drug testing if the 'personal issues' might stem from worries over this?
I for one rate Hock as an immense player but there is always that nagging doubt over someone with his type of previous if he'll test positive again.

Well today at the Etihad I have heard you have signed hock, chase, Morley and SBW is a strong possibility. The SBW one came from an Aussie agent talking to a super league coach.
