Think Walshy sums up the feelings of the average fan.

When we were relegated the cahirman spoke to a small number of fans telling them exactly where the club was and how much money was needed. This led to a meeting in the Willows Restaurant and the setting up of Forever Reds.

Over the last 10 years the relationship has changed, maybe the chairman has had enough proping up the club. Maybe fans want more in this "instant age "of facebook and twitter.

We can all think of things the club could do better and recruitment off field is as important as on field. Look at the positions at the club, how many are family and friends ratyher than the best for the job?

This is the first time in I don't know how many years we are seriously considering not buying our season tickets.

This is what the so called Dinosaurs have been after for the past eight years,come clean,you never know,we might actually want to help the club.But no,the management depend on FOOLS like you who believe everyword they care to spout out and take it as gospel.Never mind the knee jerking,take no notice of them idiots questioning Mr Salford,what the hell do they know?The fight starts now,not tomorrow,not next week,NOW. Well said I think if they spoke to fans more then they would not cause anger and frustration that is about. I for one would not be as angry and full of criticism if we were just kept ingots. We understand you can't tell us every thing but at end of day we pay to get in. To criticise fans on statement that come out I feel as though there making fans to blame for there rubbish management. They might have got there 8,000 fans if they listened to fans and played on Sunday and we might not be here now. Sorry this club is a joke and I won't be wasting money I ain't got that blames supporters for there mess. I have been going for 20 plus years and. Club don't give fans trust with anything and that's why they won't get any more money off me

I agree that's been the clubs problem for a while engaging with fans and ignoring supporters or telling someone on Facebook saying negative comment on site like they threatened to kick someone off tonight because he is stating a point is disgraceful. Considering he buys a ticket every year the club is a take. I hope you get loads of signatures and stick it in there face. The club does not deserve loyal fans who care. How is petition going

Good luck in your fight to save your club and get questions answered. When Wakey were in a similar predicament we received no help from anyone. However the RFL have now set a precident with the help they gave Bradford. To remain impartial and fair they should now be stepping in to help you.

The club did not like what matt Parrish said so they got rid of him now they don't like the fans for speaking the truth I hope he tells them to stick the season ticket. The club don't give a crap as long as there taking your money. Everyone is expecting club to win but you don't file a winding up order at a cost without evidence. The problem is the club they brought them in to help finances and they action the company must have took would benefit the club but as normal the club trample all over everyone trying to help I hope fans boycott season tickets until the club learn to listen to supporters I won't ever go again now been ticket holder for 20 years I only fell out with club the way it treated matt parish. This club is total crap at listening and if I remember rightly they sold the club to Parrish and they lied to him. As far as I am concerned the club don't deserved. As for your club Wakefield I feel the RFl should have done more to help Wakefield but as small clubs don't matter to RFl and big clubs do the gap is getting wider between bottom and top when should have made an even competition. So far the petition has received 72 signatures , whilst this is no huge amount I still feel heartened by the fact enough people want answers. The comments on the petition so far are begging for the club to meet with its supporters and tell us the truth of our predicament. I wrote a piece about my feelings on this issues https://mscityredgirl.wordpress.com/201 ... -censored/ Now I understand some posters are of the opinion that Myself and others may be massively overreacting but when you start to piece the past 2 years together and the many errors made along the way it starts to look very suspicious indeed. I believe that the club is In such difficulty that the potential new "Investors" will be more inclined to allow the club to Fold then buy the club as a New Company, alas Bradford Bulls.

The Parish appointment was never going to work due to the fact we didn't even do any homework on Parish he wasn't even on our short list , Gentle was our Man and all we needed to do was forward him the contract ,But in true Salford style we stuffed that up when a certain football director told blatant lies and our beloved board instead were on a sightseeing tour of Sydney.this was followed by a gentle mans agreement to return Gentles call ASAP, and once more Salford weren't professional enough to do this so Gentle told them where to stick it.
Parish was the emergency signing as somebody put his name in the frame and before you know it he's signed under the impression Salford were due major financial input and we were one of SuperLeagues model clubs.

Parish as a person was volatile and off the wall, challenging players and allegedly drinking every night and trying to socialise with players as a mate ,then turning on them when they didn't take up the offer to go on a booze crawl.

I do respect parish for telling Wilky and a simms to keep their nose out, and he did infact order that Wilky,Simms and Clague be locked out of the changing rooms. You can guess that this was the beginning of the end for Matt.

For too long Our club has been mismanaged and quite frankly been a PR disaster , Only saying what it wants and dismissing the supporters as unimportant ,even more so with The move to the "Iconic" stadium that we knew we couldn't afford but took a gamble that could ultimately signal the death of Salford RLFC as we know it.

Maybe he was trying to insert disapline to make the team more professional is that a crime. And would love to here how you know who was on short list are you there when they interviewed are club as always lacked disapline and just look over years we are never fully fit can't play for 80 mins and can't defend a disapline on players that I felt personally needed even the club. Or we will never challenge for anything. Matt parish was treated disgracefully in my eyes as he wanted the players to be more professional and for me we need someone like that if you want to be successful in sport. Problem is they did not like what he wanted to do. If its right that the club told him one thing and he saw what they said was wrong as a coach you ain't going to be happy if you took a job based on what club sells. They players a always here for a free ride there here to perform. So for me shows club had no ambition for change. And selling Marty smith when we still had a good chance of play off place shows the lack of ambition by the whole club.
