I've just rung the club to enquire about my season ticket for 2012 and been told the price increases TODAY !!!!!
Has anyone else heard this??

Don't think the club knows what's going mate let alone anyone else.

if this is correct it is absolutely scandalous - nothing at all on reds.co.uk...I've had nothing in the post...WTF???

I can't believe this, if true what are the club up to? I like many others have not received any info' I didn't get a leaflet at the last game, what is going on at the Reds? I have been discussing with friends where we might go in the new stadium, favourite at the mo' is standing. At this rate I might be listening on Radio Manchester.

So the club have no responsibility to promote STs or contact existing/new supporters about them?

I was told stuff would be posted out soon. I've had trouble previously in making contact with the club via email. I don't have chance to ring the club during office hours. But it's for normal for every other club I support to contact existing supporters about STs, memberships and everything else. They also market to new supporters as well. So far, Salford are failing on both fronts. As I've mentioned previously, I never had any paperwork about the 3 and 5 year STs.

If (and I say "if") prices have gone up today, earlier than usual, with no paperwork sent to existing members and ST holders then it's an absolute scandal. Of course, I'm not entirely convinced that will be the case. But this is a problem and, rather than just accusing people of whinging for the sake of it and telling everyone to stop moaning and just ring up the shop, maybe you could just sit back and take in the point people are trying to make?

We seem to be desperate to keep season ticket prices a secret for whatever reason.

That does it, I will carry on paying for my season ticket monthly and then when I get it I will not go, there foot in both camps



But in the real world the clubs marketing team would have been out there selling the club, if they have nothing to sell ie confusion over the prices of the season tickets there is not a lot they can do.

So is it the board or the CEO who have mismanaged this trip to the Brewery?

I've already been phoned twice about renewing my season ticket and had something sent in the post. I think we should have something prominently advertised on the official site though.

Is that since the end of the season, or as part of the earlier price freeze/multi year offer?

I spoke to the club and they think the new season ticket details will be announced the latest the end of the week, which is good news.

Usually it happens after the internationals so we are early in that aspect but I do feel it needed to be earlier this season, just lets hope its a good deal

Nah, it's the fixtures that follow the internationals, season tickets are usually shortly after the season ends (well, our season anyway) . It was only a few years ago that you got a free ticket to the current season's grand final if you bought your season ticket early enough.
