If the actors were incapable of performing the basics i.e. remembering the lines - you would have every right to shout.

Kids are not elite athletes who get paid to perform for your pleasure - no crowd no job.

If you didn't perform at work would you not consider criticism valid and I doubt in that situation you would be doing much shouting back.

You are buying a product - entertainment - if you feel that product is faulty you have every right to voice your concerns?

All most supporters want is their team to perform to their potential - if they do that and still lose most fans will accept it - it is when they don't that fans get frustrated.

For 37 minutes we were in the game tonight,and I thought we were in with a chance. Then the wheels fell off again!!.Second half ,Rovers seemed to step up a gear and we had no answer.It was back to 5 [very poor drives and a kickThey wer up on us as soon as we played the ball, so could make no yards at all.Enthusiasm drained out of the players .Why oh why ,when we are so far behind, dont they try something different, such as a short kick through and chase, or straight from the scrum on the first tackle , kick downfield for JB to chase.

To be honest you cant expect a big gate when when your getting nilled at home what concerns me veivers was brought in as defence coah and we are averageing 50 points a game. You aint going to attact supporters when we are getting stuffed every game. This will be looked at in dran hise which i dont think we will get. Avaraging a gat of 3,000 proves we aint going forward. I just dont think we ate good enough and if veievers gets job i would wonder where next win is. We are so predictable in a attack the opposition defence dont have to learn a lot to defend against us as we only seem to have one plan. We never try chip over the top or anything and are passing is attrousious. What does the club do in training we can tackle we always give away silly penalties which always result in concedeing 6 points. When are we going to get a team that plays good rugby as we never look like scoring. So is it any wonder why we ger 2000 plus fans. Who is going pay £20 to come and watch rubbish. The club promise big things and then the season starts so cant see this club ever moving forward. Which depresses the hell out of me

It IS as bad as it gets at the moment. A season full of promise has completelty disintegrated. Coach(es) gone, players underperforming, crowds dwindling. Cup run over, no chance of top eight finish and we're not even in June yet.

I've wasted enough money for this season. I'll turn up for the final game and then I'll have a think about whether I'm going to risk suffering another false dawn in a new stadium.... or finally escape from the torment and just pack it all in.

Well, on a positive note, nobody can deny the passion on show from the contributors on here.

I think what we are seeing is a direct consequence of lacking direction. As much as I like PV the Club and players know that he is just a stand-in. Fans and Players seem to lack any confidence at the moment and it highlights exactly why we need that head coach appointment asap. To be honest, it doesn't really matter who it is. A new approach, fresh ideas, and for the players a clean slate to take the Club forward.

Come on Salford, get someone in before this slide becomes terminal.

We did well in the first half and ,after 25 minutes,texted my mate and told him it was "all Salford".
But.....I am a Holdsworth fan but he is off form.Deal with it,it happens.

In the meantime ,playing Stef at 6,if he's leaving at the end of the season would be a backward step.We have tried that and it isn't the answer.

A fan stood near to me shouted "come on reds, do you know what wembley means?" in the direction of the players just after the first try and holdsworth decide to turn round and tell that fan to 'f**k off', so other fans started shouting at holdsworth and cashmere turned round and shouted back "shut the 'f**k' up...you 'f**king' come on if you think you can do better".
Seems some of the aussies don't like a bit of criticism, well done to matty smith and stef ratchford though who tried to cool things down a bit.

If you accept that the players read the Turkey,then they read all the crap about being unfit and not trying.
They are bound to react to idiots in the crowd.
When the first try went in just before half time we had been playing ok and holding our own in an arm wrestle.
Fans can shout what they like and the players shouldn't really answer back but,as I say, with some of the stuff being written , human nature takes over.

Indisciplined unorganised rabble.
We have good players who are being coached in the art of RL from 20 years ago.
First SM and now PV, both with the same coaching style snuffing out what what skill there is in the team.
I would get frustrated if I had to play to that game plan every week.
Not once last night did they break the line and attacks petered out due to lack of ideas.
Simple things such as defensive lines, passes to hands, tackling ,appear to have gone out of the window.
This is now 4 years of utter $hite and even with new players it is the same old Dross, one common denominator coaching.

On the note of new owners, heard a rumour from a fairly reliable source that millward had accepted the salford job last year, but SM refused to leave and we couldnt afford to pay him off so Millward stayed at Leigh. The second part of the rumour was that the Leigh chairman would follow Millard over to Salford. I dont know much about the guy, even if he has any more money than JW, but he has just recently left Leigh...
