| Quote RedDave="RedDave"I hope that next season's coach, whoever he is, can bring the best out of the squad being assembled. At the moment I am pessimistic.'"
[iDo you honestly think Salford City Reds will sack Shaun McRae?
In my opinion for what it's worth once the club find out if we are to be rewarded with another franchise then and only then will chages be made off the field.
I can see Mr Simms being moved upstairs and Mr McRae being made football director and then after loads of speculation and rumor the one and only Mr Ian Millward being brought to the club.
But for the time being we must all sit back and wait for July 2011 before any chages if any will take place.
On a serious note I hope my predictions don't come about but for the time being nothing changes being a Salford City Reds fan.

| For me the worst thing Mcrae has done is not the results but the fact that last year Ratchford and Adamson were knocking on the international door and they have both gone backwards this season, that has to be blamed on the coaching, really hope he doesnt do the same to Broughton

| I am pi$$ed off with people saying it will be different next year when he has HIS team.
Well please tell me who signed the majority of the players on display yesterday ?
One man rugby, zero tackling technique, no kicking game clueless in attack the list goes on and on.
The man cannot coach and giving him a load of new players will not change this.
Yes he did win a few things... IN THE PAST
Next year we have a lot of different personalities signing for the club who need a strong leader and motivator, , do you honestly believe McRae is the man for that ?
As for Ian Millward, do me a favour, he is the same as McRae.
When the francise bids are renewed and Salford are again floundering at the bottom, then maybe people will realise what a mistake it has been to keep McRae in charge.
One man for me (and I do not even like him) but he seems to have that certain something... Brian Noble

And all credit to them.
That is 2 hours of their life they will never get back, plus the cost as well.
The present shower of $hite do not deserve fans like them.

Totally agree mate - were a decent side these days, playing well, some excellent players and we took less than that to Leeds !!

| You can only think, that the powers that be think Mcrae is doing a great job
because If they did not, he would be sacked,we have spent money, not because we wanted to, but because we have had to.Someone once said,in sport If you stand still you go backwards, how far back are we.

we should get rid of Laurel and Hardy aka McRae and Simms and move heaven and earth to get John Kear in - he must be getting pi$$ed off at Wakefield by now - I think we could really achieve under Kear and our new signings for next season - please JW pick up the phone and give JK a ring

| Well, I was one of the 309 there yesterday and I've gotta be honest, I really enjoyed myself. No, I really did! Sure, I was in a state of delerium following a 5 and a half hour journey from Kent yesterday morning after a night of just 2 hours sleep but I couldn't help but giggle at the entertainment on offer. I mean, we were terrible and had Huddersfield been as clinical as they really should've been if they have any aspirations of winning the comp then we'd have been in for a real hiding. We were simply dire. But, I didn't expect anything else. With so many kids playing in addition to seasoned pro's that I'm simply past caring about, I never expected a competitive game. So why else did I enjoy myself so much? Well, the constant stream of comedy from many prominant supporters was classic. Especially 'Ave it' who was in a decidely dark and funny mood.
Oh look. There were many reasons as to why I enjoyed myself yesterday. The quality of Salford's play, just one of many many reasons to support Salford RL was arguably the only dynamic that failed to entertain. Besides that, good times! =D

| I enjoyed myself at Crusaders for some bizzare reason, but yesterday I could not bring myself to go and give more money and time to a team who just can not give a fook.
