| As I said to a few people this afternoon I'm not sure we should be too concerned with our overseas recruitment looking over the past 6 years. Yes we've had a few shockers but not as many as some would like you to believe!
From my memory since 2003.
Berne
Borgese
Caine
Cashmere
Gower
Henry
Jiminez
Langi
Leuluai
McGuinness
Rutgerson
Shipway
Smith
Stapleton
Swain
And then add to that those we've brought in from clubs over here;
Beverley
Clinch
Dorn
Dunemann
Finnigan
Korkidas
Lima
Moule
Paul
Talau
Viane
Wilshere

| So this will surely mean Alker to back row with Parker moving to prop?
Holdsworth at 6 with Ratchford, With both smith's at 9 im happy with that
Would be delighted if we got another prop (stosic maybe) along with Broughton then we would have competition for starting 17 spots

| You have to think that he has been brought in to play at 7 or 9 as cant see any openings injuries aside at 6 or 13. Though he does look a very decent signing and he will surely be one of the first names on the sheet with his versatility and his ability to kick goals.
Talking of which who is likely to be the number one choicer kicker now that Wilshere has left?.

| As a Bolton Wanderers fan, news of us announcing D. Holdsworth as our new 'big signing' is enough to send a shiver down my spine?!
However, he looks like he has potential to go well for us. His versatility and kicking game will be of great benefit and he's also young ... and hungry apparently?!

Problem with stosic, is we would have to wait for him to get his Macedonian passport with, Henry, Cashmere, Smith, Swain, Holdsworth our "quota players", If he did he could be a swap for wilshere on the non-fed players.

Im goin off Mr simms n Mr Mcraes current form in the transfer market, just what we needed a ball player with a brain, he is only 25 so approaching the peak of his powers, hope he is starting hooker with alker replacement 2ND row Jezza coming of the bench will give other teams lots to think about round the ruck.
I think his choice to come here shows he has ambition which is the type of player we need to sign, he could have easily stayed in oz but must have see the opportunity to play for one of the 14 biggest clubs in england with a new stadium about to begin which could send us and his career into orbit, like the rest of our current players they got in on the ground floor and should see this as an opportunity to achieve greatness.
I think rachford or m smith will kick the goals as they will be on the field most of the time imo

| Very average player who seems to be on slide... though could be one who fits to SL and excels greatly! The likes of Luke Dorn & McGoldrick didn't come with big reps but have done really well!
Reading signing statement the massive focus on his potential goalkicking was bit odd, cos surely player first and foremost?
Smith, Smith, Ratchford & Holdsworth is a good 4 to pick from though!
