On his day Penky is the best hooker in the Championship. Suffered last year due to being picked at stand off. He is a flair/off the cuff player and when it works it really works....when it dosent he looks poor. Never let's anyone down in defence. His kicking game is poor though. Be sorry to see him go if he does sign, but in Beswick and Gleeson we have more than adiquate cover. |

Penky is Super dooper league standard IMO when playing 9 and only 9. To be fair to him he has played much of this season at 6 which he cannot do. Gleeson is well organised and his distribution it first class where as Penky can offer that bit of something from acting half that not many can in our lowly league. Think he would do a decent job for you if he signed. I personally wouldnt want him to leave but we have Beswick too and could use any money received in other areas. Good luck to him either way!
