I like your optimism.
I can't see anything but a Salford win, regardless of who plays. I think in the past, even the recent past, this would have been a real banana skin for us. I think we have come a long way in a short time mentally and the team simply wont take the game lightly. I think Leigh will play well, and their stand-out players will also do well, but I can't see anything but a Salford win.
If Leigh do win, it will be on merit and I will congratulate them as victors.

Leigh are 5/2 to win yet Salford are 1/3.
On the Handicaps Ladbrokes go Leigh PLUS 10 1/2 @ 4/5.
I think you should put your red nose, bowler & walking stick on that, sell your memorabilia of the real Charlie on Ebay & put that on then finally your caravan wheels as well - at least then you will have a static caravan if all goes pear shaped..
Looks a great bet for all us Devils fans who want Salford to win and have solace if we win by less than 10. Think its generous - I would have thought 6 was more the mark.

Thought it was a bit stingy myself. Would've expected something like 12-16 start.
Personally, hope Leigh just put in a decent performance in front of a good crowd who'd be encouraged to come back. As for the Hock saga, I'm looking forward to the circus leaving town and getting back to the league fixtures! |
