Is it just me or does the Doc have an extremely unorthodox way of going about his business? I'm just perplexed why he would announce this on Twitter before Noble has made a decision about taking the new role offered to him. If Harris is being appointed on Monday why not wait until the Doc knows what Noble's decision is? There's never a dull moment is there, this is going to be some ride.

Koukash on GMR stated it was his decision, and he had a difficult meeting today with Noble, who took the news badly.

Pretty clear he got overtaken by events. The news was starting to break so he blurted out a twitter announcement.

If that's true then Noble will be gone from Salford very soon.

Yep. Surprised if Noble takes the job. The shipping out of Noble is knee jerk but could be justified if Wayne Bennett came waltzing off the next plane. The fact Iestyn Harris is viewed as the answer is crazy.

Not sure on this one. We heard recently that the Doc said Nobles position was safe. Usually when this is said that particular person loses their job pretty soon after and its happened again.
If Noble moves upstairs , then this to me means it has been planned for a while. If its a knee jerk reaction from the Doc , then im sure Noble will just walk.

As for Harris , dont have a clue how we will do. Im not sure if many assistants have become quality coaches over time.Im not sure you have much time whilst the Doc is running the helm. He doesnt seem to realise time is needed to build a successful club.Personally I have some doubts over this. Time will tell i guess.
