Isn't that 'Welcome, older injury prone players'?

I am so old that my Latin lessons were in the middle of the last century, but some of the Welcome to Hell translations feel wrong. There was no Latin word for "Welcome" as it comes fro the German and the Romans had other phrases. Bene venitus seems too welcoming and circumspice (Look around at) may annoy the City of Salford.

If you want a real Latin phrase, why not "Oderint dum metuant".
MR could use it for his friends in Swinton.

When we play Wigan, Leeds, Saints and Warrington, we could use "Praeteritum tuum, sed futurum meum".

Whats with all the latin/french suggestions? I suggest we keep it as basic as possible, what has worked previously and can we not just improve upon on that.

I like the 'Welcome To Hell' suggestions but we need to make sure the South Stand actually create some form of atmosphere, rather than a couple of hundred people in there making no noise at all. Any chance on the stadium company allowing us to use flares?

Aside from all the hell ideas. Thinking about music bands round the area the line 'the past was yours but the futures mine' could fit Koukash perfectly. I could give a go at trying to get a few designs up on photoshop..

I do think there needs to be a decision made on one song to come out too and stick to it for the season, drop the viking thing as that ship (pun intended) has sailed.

I'd go for Cochise by Audioslave, builds up to a very loud high tempo song and would kind of fit the new image, also if Real XS are still involved they would I'm sure love that angle.

Just curious about the Salford Reds Arising song. With the new shirt being Red and Black are the lyrics changing to Red and Black or staying Red and White?
