I would say you are anti-Salford with some of your comments, which I notice you don't say directly to the present owner when you have spoken to him in the past, If I didn't know the club, reading stuff on the social networks I would think that they are anti the club and therefore anti-Salford.

Rather than anti-the club being run poorly?

Most of the comments on social media about Salford are easily put down to people wanting the club to be run efficiently and professionally. To suggest investors would be put off by such postings is nonsense. After all, look at the unrest and bitching there was amongst city fans for years - it didn't stop investment there, now, did it?

So in Bigpev's Red tinted bury head in the sand world, questioning the club politics makes you anti-Salford does it. Typical club apologist comment, we the paying public have every right to question the club ethics. I've questioned the directors many a time concerning matters of our decline which obviously meant the conversations lasted seconds.

We all question the Glazers influence on Man utd does that make us anti man utd. No it doesn't. at least the glazers don't rob from charity funds.

New owners please free us from this life sentence of false promises and deceit

Lance, Pev's words were that "some people" appear to be anti Salford City Reds, which to most people that I know feel is correct.

As an example I was at a social gathering last Saturday with 50/60 people all who know that I am a Salford City Reds Supporter and several of these people have been introduced to Salford City Reds matches by myself and other supporters.

During the evening the talk got round to whats up with the club etc and everyone of them who was in the group highlighted some of the comments on Scarlet Turkey, Red Planet Facebook page etc as proof that there appears,to their minds a campaign of anti Salford City Reds bias from some posters and they then quoted the very same posters who I think that Pev was referring to in his post.

Even though they are relatively new to watching the Salford City Reds and have been using the forums for about 12/18 months they say that they know who will be posting about what, whenever something happens,they also have bets on who will get in first, very funny it was.

I also pointed out that it was nothing new as in the 70s with Watkins, Hesketh, Dixon,Fielding, Richards,Charlton etc I used to stand in the Popular Side Stand or the Shed as it became known and actually hear fans complaining over all the above players from time to time and special anger was reserved on occasions for Cliff Evans the coach and the only difference then was that there was no social media forums around for people to use and consequently the abuse was always dished out from a distance.

There does seem to be some similarity between how you fans feel and Wakefield fans felt under their previous ownership, although JW is streets ahead of those who used to run Wakey.
Prior to Glover buying Wakefield they have around 800 season ticket holders.
Last year following Glover's takeover they had 4000 and their average gate went up by 25% to approx 8100. They have already sold over 3500 for 2013.
I do think that should new owners come in some of your fed up fans will turn up to give it a go. Investment in the squad and a turn around in wins/losses will surely boost your crowds.
Hope you get your new owners, a better squad and improved results which will bring in the crowds.
