| People won't fork out £20 to watch, for want of a better word dung. Club are partly to blame for the crowds, no advertisement what so ever, what have this company done they employed at the start of the season? God bless the try before you buy scheme  |

Interesting point about the £20 on the day. It is £12 however for members and £18 for pre booked tickets. Considering we are are moving to a new stadium and it's a whole new era for the club, what do you think the admission prices should be at Barton to really help attract a lot more people through the turnstiles? Personally I'd prefer to see twice the numbers for much less than twice the current gate revenue. I believe that demand creates further demand and would help increase revenue in other areas like sponsorship and merchandise.
For instance should the club take a view that we will have 12,000 places to sell x 13 games and set a target of £1m a season for gate revenue? Would this be more achievable and realistic at lower prices than aiming higher and hoping for the best? (Just because we will be playing in a new stadium) At the end of the day we don't have anywhere near the same pull as a Premier League football club (especially with so much competition in this area) and people have lots of choices such as the Cinema at £7-£8.
Would be interested to know what other people's thoughts are?

whilst the subject is crowds - on a similar subject can i just say well done to the brain dead Hull fans who decided to stand in the Shed and sing Hull songs all game and annoy the t*ts off everyone.....you are the pride of humberside and put the ass in class.

Made more noise than Salford fans. Dire atmosphere equal dire performance. Partly feel sorry for the players, how they're expected to get pumped up for games with about 30-40 people singing in the shed. Sometimes feel players are having a laugh at the fans when they say ' [ished was brilliant last night[/i '. Been every home game this season, only fans we've prob been louder than is the Bradford lot! Reason for that is because they was gettin tonked! |

What simply baffles me is that we easily have the biggest available audience to draw from out of any team in super league!! We have close on a million people living withing a 10 mile radius of the ground ffs

I could bring you back to a few short years ago when little HKR brought about 20 fans to the willows but now you are a massive club and start spouting off the usual attendance $hite.
Yes our crowds are cr@p and non of us will disagree with that but your obsession with attendances is more than a little tedious.
