Warrington always bring between 2 and 3 000 in travelling fans, and it's always the Home fans who simply don't match the appetite.

Although as others mentioned - there aren't many excuses for Friday. Weather, Last match vs Wire, Utd not playing until Saturday, and you actually played well on Saturday so hopefuly around 6k.

I really really reeeeeeeeeally hope we win and we get a big crowd, just to shut our critics up.

I might need a brush for this sweeping generalisation, but there seems to be a lot of arrogance amongst Wire fans these days.

(I'm not saying its all Wire fans, just more arrogance than there used to be)

We got 5,929 against Saints on a cold Friday night in February after getting hammered at Cardiff, we managed 6,266 against v Wigan again on a cold Friday night.

For the record over the past ten league games between us both at the Willows the average is 5,268, although the last two (since we came back up) have an average of 6,122.

Now our average so far this season is only 4,566, with Bradford at the Willows on Sky on a Saturday with a 16.45 kick off which just so happened to clash with the biggest Manchester football derby in virtually a lifetime and the Crusaders game, which would have a small turn out anyway, also on Sky, on a Saturday with a 19.15 kick off, it’s no real wonder the crowds look cack. However if you take away both home Sky games it's actually 5,535.

So a bank holiday, 3pm kick off, no football, no sky and what looks like good weather, I would hope 7k is the minimum we can expect.

No one has said it yet, so I'll start it off......we are a big club, we WILL win the Grand Final and we should be hammering the likes of Salford.

Seen some nail biting encounters between Salford & the Wire in the past few years and some pretty embrassing one sided events.. hope the crowd & the game warrants the final game between us at the Willows.

we are paying the players more than we should and most of our crowd are glory hunters there you could have said that as well, the same Big Club that fred flintstone swings, like getting beat by the Catalan.

And Catalans beat Wigan, Sheffield beat Wigan, Leeds beat United in last seasons FA Cup. Shocks happen - that's all part of sport.

Great weather,good company a few beers and wire win. I expect s decent crowd we always bring a couple of thousand.The shed is always packed for this game,so i would say between 8 and 9 thousand.
