I am certainly NOT anti Ratchford at all.

He is a class player as I have stressed all along.
Class is permanent.

However it was clear from pretty much the start of the season that Holdsworth was far the better link man and we fannied around trying to accomodate both by,for example,moving Swain into the second row.
Prestwich Red is at it again by moving three or four positions around to accomodate him.
That is daft.

Good idea to have him on the bench but coach seems to want impact hooker/acting half back and maybe he doesn't fancy him in that role.

'' The coach doesn't like him'' is a cop out unless there is an attitude issue ,and I've no idea whether thats the case.

IMHO Matty Smith would be a better hooker as his distribution at the PTB is very good.
Ratchford to SO and Holdsworth at SH.
You then have J Smith on the bench as a interchange.
That looks a exciting 3/4 line to me.

thats what i got told on sat night that mcrae doesn't like ratchford. Didn't give me a reason. We were both in agreement that ratchford is a quality player. Too good for 20's level anyway.

We need to replace Parker and against Warrington we need to stop Briers and Myler from wreaking havoc.
