He needs at least 6 to 8 games to get his touch/timings right, I think he will come good. We will need a good centre when we lose one of our backs to Saints next season'" Who's off now?

| I think some folk is actually jumping the gun a bit with Vidot just for scoring Two walk-ins that even my old mate the butcher would have scored. He was nothing special going forward , however, he was frequently enthused to take the ball up. Which is a Non-negotiable. job to do.
But, as Wingers go he looks unorthodox, he's gait looks slow and flat footed, I think if he had a clear running chance, he'd be caught within seconds. The jury is still out for me until he gets fit, but Winger's shouldn't, as a rule, take ample time for this to improve however looking at Vidot his fitness levels don't look any better than Two weeks ago at Castleford. We'll have to wait and see but bigging him up for Two walk-ins is setting him up to fail and very short sighted.

| I think to call Vidot's first try a walk in is disingenuous. Not a very difficult chance but the pass was low and in front of him and there were 3 defenders in front of him and another came across to help out. I would argue a walk in is where there's no one in front of you. To praise him for scoring two tries is no more short sighted than writing him off after his first game back from injury after 6 months, especially by people who seem to think there is no difference between fit and match-fit. Anyone who compares Vidot to junior Langi must be very short sighted cos there is a massive difference in their build
Solid but unspectacular would be my assessment of him so far which is what I would expect given he's just back from injury, his style of plat requires high fitness levels and he's had Evalds and Bibby as his centres

Agree, not going to write him off or laud him after 3 games. Hopefully those 2 trys will give him more confidence

| Obviously if it's a centre it's either or both Sau and Griffin as their both only contracted for this season, aren't they?

| Reading Watto's post match interviews, sounds like Vidot has returned earlier than expected and "put his hand up" when needed. Clearly he isn't injuried anymore (otherwise we wouldn't have taken the risk) but he definitely isn't fit enough yet. I again thought he was solid on Saturday, making hard yards from within our own 20 and I can see him forming a lethal combo with Junior.

| I thought Vidot was solid in his performance. Anyone can see he hasn't got his match fitness back just yet. Thought he took his first try well and needed a bit of scoring to take on three committed defenders. He chimed-in plenty of times to do the hard stuff and didn't make any errors that I recall. He's growing in confidence and can see him getting better and better.

Junior Sau signed a contract until the end of the 2017 season last year.

| Also whoever said his first try was a walk-in is taking the p*ss. It still took a lot of scoring, but he skittled three defenders out of the way.

I agree he had 3 to 4 defenders on him, I was amazed he touched it down

| Let's remember that several Aussie players have taken a season to settle to the European game without the added challenge of a long injury.

Gee Whiz, Vidot's first try gets more exaggerated by the post. There were three defenders on the back foot to which Vidot took the route in between them all.he didn't skittle them at all. He took four strides then dived to score, Junior Langi would have scored, it was a walk in. rlClickyrl

The try took some scoring, many players would not have managed it,it followed a good pattern of play which put the defenders in a position that Vidot took advantage of.
Are you related to Lance Todd by any chance?
