I'd settle for Dudson, a young raw boned prop who can play for a good proportion of the game. Would like to see him and Tasi as the starting props.

It’s a good job McPherson doesn’t get paid for minutes on the pitch or he’d be sat on a pavement now next to a paper cup with a few copper’s in it.

He’s has more injuries in the last 3 years than a bad stuntman.

I'd love to know how good Rapira can actually be when he's not a crock, but sadly that doesn't look like happening.

Shame really. I think both are good players on their day, but Rapira's digestive legs and McPherson's 'unluckiest man in the world' tag will probably mean their Salford careers will soon end.

Assuming there is some truth to the rumours, then we could end up with the following changes to our quota slots:

Meli replaced by Locke (this we know for definite)
Smith replaced by Dobson (possibly)
Possibly Teo to replace anyone from Puletua, Rapira, or Mullaney

Those signings would definitely be a step in the right direction.

Rapira amassed a brilliant 8 tackles , 2 missed tackles & 28 metres carry against St Helens . ( Ie , he had a ' mare ).
He was to my recollect subbed early . I doubt he's ever been fully fit all season . At this rate he'll make Vic Mauro look a good buy.

If the Dobson rumours are true, then where does it leave Marc Sneyd? Unless Iestyn subscribes to the Michigan Red stylee 'Any random player I like can play centre' school of thought and plays him there, you've got to assume he'll not be returning.

He is a good player, but incredibly injury prone. He hasn't reappeared since the concussion so you have to assume it's still that. Concussion can be pretty serious, as rlthisrl tells us.

murphy was concussed v wigan recently, think its standard now that a player comes off if concussed, they used to just carry on
