A man advantage for 77 minutes and we lose 40-6. Not exactly expecting a win, but that's not good enough really.
Probably best to have these first three games at the beginning of the season while the team is still yet to gel and we don't have all of our players. Wasn't likely we would win them anyway, leave the more winnable games until later on in the season.

| We were poor around the play the ball. Slow to get up. Slow to mark. Catalans just needed a fast ptb and they would gain fifteen or twenty metres each time. We look like an average Championship side at the moment. Need a lot of work. I suspect when Foran comes in, the side will lift in every department when they get a manager on the field to push them around.
We should be peaking somewhere around the last quarter of the season. |
