| Greg Johnson has Super League experience with Huddersfield and Wakefield.
The Advertiser has a Neil Barker piece which reads.....[icontinue to be linked with two top young Super League forwards and one of these players is expected to come on board in the very near future[/i

what a difference a year makes I guess..
We sound like old ladies in the grocers checking the fruit for firmness.
this time last year we would have been chuffed that someone of Dixons calibre ( Young , promising & in the England Knights squad )was linked with us .. if true , he'll be moving to a club that finished below his current one .

| I still dont want a coward like Johnson in a red shirt next season and I'll not applaud him. I'd much rather see Evalds given his his chance.
Two young forwards? I always wondered if Bateman @ Bradford might be tempted to work with Noble so maybe hes one.

| Says in the M.E.N and Advertiser that were after two YOUNG forwards and one almost done? So where does this leave Dixon?

I think Dixon will still be in Noble's plans for next season but suspect Matty Ashurst might struggle to get a game.

| I'm still to be convinced by Dixon, very much agree that he's Kevin Penny MKII. Think anyone saying otherwise are just covering their arrse incase he signs for us, all in my opinion obviously.

We're talking about Kieran Dixon, not Andrew.

Someday, somewhere, today’s empires are tomorrow’s ashes.: |
|
| Quote: George Agdgdgwngo® "Who are your Hookers for next season?'"
Now [ithere's[/i a question. At the start of last season the first choice hooker was Stuart Howarth, with Wayne Godwin as second hooker. Howarth was sent on loan to St Helens (and isn't a hooker really) and has since disappeared. Has he been released? Don't know. Wayne Godwin became first choice hooker - which he should have been all along - and, after a little bit of early reluctance on Brian Noble's part, the excellent Gareth Owen became the second hooker. Come the end of the season, Wayne Godwin is released (strange one that) and Tommy Lee signed.
Presumably, then, Tommy Lee and Gareth Owen are the hookers for next season, but I wouldn't be surprised if Theo is moved there, or if one of the "two young forwards" we're rumoured to be signing turns out to be a hooker.
So, to summarise. The answer to your question is "don't know".

| Howarth is back in pre season training with us, not sure where he'll figure next season to be honest.

| With another nail seemingly being put into the lid of the coffin on London Broncos rlTodayrl and the signing of Tommy Lee from London and the rumour of signing Dixon,do any of the ITK's have any hint of the reported young fowards Neil Barker has alluded to ?
Could they be from the London Broncos ? Has this young fella rlHERErl already left them ?
May as well speculate on here as read about people second guessing the intentions of MK.
