I can think of more pressing purchases than another half back where I think, Foran, Sneyd, Fages and Evalds at a push is more than enough cover.

Need a decent loose forward, at least one more big prop and possibly a big bullocking centre.

Noble likes a big up and under on the last and it wouldnt surprise me if we go for Mellors at Wakey.

Smith would be a quality signing, shocked to see he's still only 28 aswell.

I'd say Sneyd is a top 8 player. I think Fages will be aswell in another 2/3 season. We've not seen enough of Foran to make that judgement yet and the same applies for Evalds at first team level.

I agree about Fages ,maybe sooner than 2/3 years.

30 year old fullback isn't what we should be signing, if its true. Even if it's just a quick fix for this season i'd rather Noble allows Sneyd or Niall to develop and gain some experience playing there.

Not for me, not going to improve the squad and will just take up salary cap. Would still if we're going for a full back like to see if we could get Glen Fisiiahi or maybe Josh Dugan.

That's pretty much as I see it ,I was quite surprised when Briscoes name cropped up.

I thought the Briscoe target rumour came 'All along the Watchtower ' from the Veivers tenure.
Mind you if Nobby's main qualification for fullback is ' Are you experienced' Briscoe would fit the bill.
