| Agree with all above posts, memories of the 70s
Thought the referee was trying to get his pools forecast right, the number of times he penalised us in our 20, he worked hard to get London to score.
Does anyone know the penalty count in the last 20 minutes ?

| RRD, think Sky Sports said it was 2006 when we last won 3 in a row. It's a bl00dy great feeling getting up with a warm glow (no that's not a euphemism!) after a performance like that. We're not a team with big names but that'll do me fine. Every single player looks like they want to die for the shirt & as a fan, that's all I ask for. We've got players in that team who weren't first choice at their previous clubs but they obviously want to repay the faith we've shown in them to give them the opportunity to play. The competition for places seems to have inspired some of our underperformers and we look like a completely different team to the shower of e wecwatched under McRae. The fact that we've had so many injuries but still produced some outstanding performances speaks volumes for the team & coaching staff. PV gives me the impression that he won't stand for excuses (injuries/weather/refs etc) & that's how it should be.
Seriously, I could go on all day, waxing lyrical about the team. I'm proud of every single Reds player on that pitch last night but an extra special mention has to go to Luke Patten. Ok, he's no Gary Broadbent defensively but as an attacking weapon I'm struggling to think of any better fullback (bar Tomkins) in SL at the moment.
And the best thing about last night? I get to go into work on Monday & shove it right up the Wigan & Wire fans that tipped us for the wooden spoon!
Now back to reality! With Catalans, Leeds & Wigan coming up we've got a tough month or so. I'm not expecting miracles against likely top 4 finishers but I hope the lads take the confidence they've built up into these games & compete for the full 80. And as fans let's have some perspective. Let's enjoy the current run & milk it while it lasts but let's not jump straight on the players backs if we do lose a few matches which, let's face it, we're not expected to win.
Alles les Diables Rouges!!!

| Personally see with games coming up against three teams I expect to finish in the top four that the confidence we are taking into them could cause an upset. Doubt many will go to France and win and doubt very much we will but can honestly see us on the stregth of last nights attacking performance troubleing Leeds.

We'll keep Brett Hodgson thanks.
Seriously though, well done Salford and I hope you guys keep it up all season (and that the crowds follow).

| Went last night as a neutral. (Wigan fan) thought it was going to be a real close game after the first 15 mins or so. All of a sudden Salford just opened up and tore broncos apart. Lively passing rugby and finding gaps with ease. Thought Luke Paten stood out as well as the forwards. As we know you can only get time and space when the forwards make it. Well done and like some have said on here don't get on the players backs if you lose a couple. Hope crowds turn up as what I saw last night was entertaining rugby. Good luck for the rest of the season.

| Well done Salford. I have really been impressed with Salford this season and have always had a soft spot for them. I would say Salford are easily the most improved team so far this season and are playing some great rugby. A strong Salford getting good crowds would be great for the game.

| Couldn't get to the game last night but listened to it on GMR. A big well done and I am tiring to get to the Leeds game. Signed A Leyther.

| Great performance. Slighty disappointed we couldn't bring up the 50 but if that's the only thing i've got to complain about then we must have played well!
Joel Moon looks outstanding. Fast, decent tackler and fantastic ball skills, looks like we've got a real player there.
Patten, Feka and Gleeson also had great games I thought. General P would have been my MOTM. The difference in Feka this season is astounding, some really great work has been done on the training ground with him.
Catalans will be a huge test of just how far we've come in recent weeks. If we can put up a good fight there, or even nick it then we can definitely set our sights on pushing for a top 8 spot. If we get well beaten then we will have to take a step back and start taking one game at a time again.
Signs are positive at the minute though

| What a pleasure to see the style of rugby being played, I thought Luke Patten was outstanding although I am sure you could go right through the whole team. Owen as impressed me he looks a good prospect obviously the coaching style is allowing the players to express themselves, well done to both PV & SL!

| All I ask for as a long standing fan isan understanding of what is improving and what the coaching staff are trying to achieve .
In Veivers and Long we seem to have the caoching staff who understand each other and somehow have forged something like team spirit within the squad.
I wonder if this is something to do with the old factions (Alker/McRae) no longer being there.
There were no bad performances last night so well done and some great tries and performances.

What happened with the ticketing?
The smell wasn't that bad at the other games so hopefully it won't be a constant thing.
