Was a shocking performance today certain players should hang there head in shame.

McCrae your time is up its time to do the right thing and leave NOW and take simms with you. With the new stadium on the approach we need a new coach with new ideas not this shower of e we see every week. Since Karl Harrison left this club has gone downhill on the playing part from reaching the playoffs to be back at the bottom of the league being the whipping boys yet again. Go to Sky and earn your living there not sure the players have lost faith in you but me and some of the other fans have.

He probably will, but hey, I wont be there. will be away for the weekend and will have to settle for watching and being embarrassed by yet another poor performance in front of millions on sky tv.

Hopefully we will have a new coach by then!!!
Or at least a stand in..

I feel he'll be here for the remainder of his contract he wont walk away and neither will Wilky sack him due to having to pay off his contract which i feel and think is very expensive.

What can you expect with so little possession. I imagine that will feature, as usual, somewhere in McRae's after match interview. Question is Shaun your the boss and it is your job to remedy this but it goes on week in week out. I do think we have some good players out there as they have proved during the course of the wins against Hull and Huddersfield but overall they are badly coached and seem lacking in confidence and motivation by a coach whose body language and expressions sat up in the stand suggests has no real answers. A change is needed if the clubs is to retain it's Super League place. At present I see no point in building new stadium for NL football which is where we are heading. A league which sadly at present I think we would struggle in too.

like the other people on here who have mate at least you've got the balls to admit it.. you get the like of fatboy limbs who come on here thinking they no this and that mcreas the one its not down to the coach and all that b@llocks lets see what sh@t he gotta say now..

like i said months ago mcrea is shocking and we need to get rid what has he actually brought to this club.. he is the one who has brought the pile of crap to this club its him who as got to pay the price

looks at the likes of leigh, warrington, wigan, crusaders all have brought in new managers which have took there club to the next level we have gone backwards in my opinion

Today shows me the players are not good enough! We might get the odd result along the way. Although it is easy to blame the coach, the coach did not keep dropping the ball & missing the tackles.

I decided not to go as I thought this would happen, I went to Cas last week & my worst fears have happened.

Although I have never been a fan of the coach, without any money it is not possible for any coach to improve the results & the team.

It would be easier to name the players who could play in other teams at super league level than those who cannot or should not as I think many NL1 sides would have given a better account of themselves today.

Absolute GARBAGE, im just fed up of feelin let down now , we've been puttin up with this for years now and i cant spend my hard earned money for much longer, they want us to pay £18 every home game then pay for fuel to watch them away with performances like today . im sorry but i cant do it any more, more important things in my life if you get my drift.

If you assume those on here are the loons who go week in week out and we're as fed upas we are then how the he'll are we supposed to are we to attract new people !!! icon_frustrated.gif
Record defeat at a "magic" game another record for the club, well done lads. icon_surprised.gifops:
Something has to give and as ever the easiest and only thing to do mid term is replace the coach. At least the new man would have 2 weeks to work with the team.

Ok guys, I am not here to gloat about the result just some thoughts from an outsider.

I can undestand your frustrations about the result today and other recent results. As many wire fans have sufferred in the same way for many years. As an other Wire fan pointed out your performances remind me of how we played aroud 2002. We could pull off the one off big shock results but didn't have the consistency to maintain good form. The Wire hit a low at one point when we were thrashed at home by the Bulls by 80 points icon_sad.gif We weren't operating at the full cap, similar to yourselves, our coach at the time was poor (Steve Anderson) and the club was going through financial transition. Only for a change in coach when Paul Cullen joined us we probably would have been relegated.

I have never really commented on Mr Mcrea and Simms but their body language today appeared to me they couldn't care less about how you were playing, maybe they do not show emotion icon_rolleyes.gif

Until you move into your new stadium I think it is more of the same for you guys. Once in the stadium your support should increase, more revenue, more spend on salary cap equals better players and so on. Oh and better coach icon_wink.gif

A new stadium is not a guarantee of success but look at the impact it had on Hull and also the Wire. It should only improve Salford as a club

Stick with it

Salford coach Shaun McRae had called for his side to respond in a positive manner after their humiliating 68-16 loss to Warrington.

The Wolves ran in 12 tries to ease to victory at Murrayfield and move to the top of Super League, though Wigan could overtake them on Sunday.

Stefan Ratchford scored a try in each half while Matty Smith also touched down on an otherwise miserable afternoon for the Reds at Magic Weekend.

McRae was not helped by the absence of five key players, though he admitted he had not seen the lop-sided result coming during the build-up.
Flat

"I never saw that coming," he said. "I was delighted with the preparation this week and the trip was excellent.

"Too many players were off colour and we were passive defensively from the outset, which is not like us, and we never really recovered.

"We are a club that can't afford to have too many guys out and the five missing would make the 17, but it wasn't players coming into the team who didn't perform.

"We looked a little flat, even from the first set. We just have to put it down to one of those days.

"It hasn't happened to me too often and it feels a bit humiliating in many respects. All you can do is respond. We have a week off next week and a chance maybe to get some of those players back."

i think wilko's the problem.

i dont think we have enough money behind us, i think we need a new owner, who is willing to stump up a wad of cash upfront for some decent players. but we can all dream!

talau must be taking a fair cut and i dont think his hearts in it,.
