Now if what I've heard this morning is true then we are on the verge of replacing Gleeson with someone who is very much a household name. I've also been given the names of the 2 Wigan loanees why are a FB and SH respectively.

As much as I appreciate that Holdsworth, S Gleeson, Patten and Smith need replacing, all the players mentioned in the Manchester Evening News are backs. Considering Anderson, Feka and Adamson have gone I'd be more interested in knowing what forwards we are potentially being linked with. For me I think we have lacked real go forward for some time now and I'd love us to sign a couple of big hard running props to rotate with Jewitt and McPherson.

Morley, Crabtree and Westwood to replace Adamson would do the job.

I'm a bit worried we'll be rolling out Reg Holdsworth in the no6 shirt this season tho!
